I appeared back stage to see cameras flashing and this lady speaking. It was the same lady who interviewed me after my performance but this time she was interviewing Keyanna and Chance The Rapper. I stayed to the side so that she wouldn't see me and listened.
Interviewer: So would you guys say that you are a thing.
Chance The Rapper and Keyanna laughed.
CTR: Na its just a song.
Interviewer: Would you guys ever consider going on a date?
My jaws clenched
CTR: I mean we are both busy people so ion think we got time to date. But we consider eachother as friends so if we ever were to go on a date it would be as friends.
Keyanna nodded
K: And the song is basically considered to have the alternative of having that sexually loving relationship over the two of us, so its suppose to create that bond with the both of us, and if yall think that we date or really think that we're in a relationship. It shows that yall understand the song and know the emotions/ feelings we're suppose to push towards you guys in this song.
CTR: Yeah create that Lovey dovey vibe
They laughed.
Interviewer: So when will this song be released?
CTR & K: At 12 AM tonight.
Interviewer: Pacific time or eastern?
K: Eastern.
Interviewer: So its eight over here meaning they have in hour left till its out?
The both of them nodded.
Interviewer: So do you consider going on tour soon, Keyanna?
K: I haven't really thought about it yet. I just have to focus on my daughter and I. Plus, I really wanna create more music but with the studio being located all the way in LA and me living in ATL it's hard to manage.
Interviewer: Have you tried moving down here?
K: Yeah I actually have thought about it, but I got my family, and friends down thea'. But then again I really don't like the idea of flying back and fourth from ATL to LA.
The interviewer nodded.
Interviewer: Last question, what are you? Based on your sexual preference,
K: I'm straight
She laughed. Keyanna got up and walked to her room I followed her. Luckily she was alone cause when I closed the door she jumped. She noticed it was me then sighed
"August whatchu' doin' back hea' ?" She asked.
"I came hea to know what's up." I told her
She frowned.
"What do you mean?" She questioned
"You know what I mean. You got people chasing you, not telling me about you getting signed, going on TV, performing hea' why the fuck did you not tell me?"
