"Bags bags bags bags..." Tooru Oikawa mumbles to himself. "Aha!" He spots his bags and grabs them quickly from the spinning table. He sighs to himself, remembering the events of the past few days.

"Sorry, but we're not going to be doing any games or practise for the next six months at least. We're advising that you all return home to your families. Tooru, we've already booked and paid for your flight to Tokyo." The team manager tells us.
Coronavirus is slowly taking over the planet so they're taking measures to protect us. Which means I'm going home.
_-_
"They're sending you home?" Sugawara repeats after I tell him. I nod, still in shock a bit. "Look, loads of us old volleyball guys have pitched in and bought this huge house that's got like fifteen huge bedrooms. Join us, please! It'll be so much fun!"
"Well, maybe." I answer.
"Iwaizumi's coming."
"You should've started with that, Mr Refreshing!"

"Oi! Shittykawa!" I turn around and there he is. My Iwa-chan.
I run towards him and he catches me in his arms with more ease than I remember.
"Iwa-chan, did you get stronger?" I ask my best friend.
"Yes he did," Another familiar voice answers for him. I look and see Makki and Mattsun lifting my bags.
"Come on, Shittykawa. Let's get you to the house before you pass out from jet la-" I can hear Iwa sigh as my body slumps from the exhaustion of jet lag. "Up we go." He moves his arms and swings me up into them, holding me against his chest.
"Iwa-chan, did you get taller?" I mumble.
"You got shorter." I hear him tease, right before I pass out.

"Guys, shush, he's sleeping," I hear a lovely voice berating people as I slowly come to. I peel my eyes open and see a lovely lounge with a conversation pit, full of familiar faces: Almost all of Karasuno; Yahaba and Mad Dog; the Fukurodani Captain and Vice Captain; the Nekoma Captain, setter, libero and stupidly tall ace; two of Chibi-chan's friends from MSBY, including my bestie Atsumu; three people I don't recognise; and...
Oh.
Oh you're fucking kidding me.
Ushiwaka and Tendou.
Actually, Tendou's not that bad.
But Ushiwaka...
"Ah, Oikawa. You would be on the Japan National Volleyball team if you had gone to Shiratori-" Thankfully Iwa's already halfway up the staircase so I don't have to hear it.
Tears prick my eyes and I sniffle as I try to hold back tears.
"Hey, Shittykawa, I know I'm usually mean to you about stuff but if you want to cry over this then I won't say anything. That'd make me a dick." Iwa whispers in a low voice. I didn't realise in our skype calls just how deep his voice has got.
I just nod and let the tears fall from my eyes as a door creaks and clicks and Iwa sits down on what must be a bed. I rub away the tears and look around the room. It's beautiful.
White paint with marble pillars and turquoise accented furniture. We're sitting on a plush king-sized four-poster bed with turquoise sheets and heavy white drapes.
"I feel like royalty," I joke through sniffles.
"You are royalty, Grand King," Iwa teases, lightly tickling my sides. He gently runs his fingers up and down my sides underneath my t-shirt and I fight back a blush until I feel his fingers brush over the bumps of my ribs. I push his hands away and he doesn't move to continue the tickling.
