"no. why, is there something wrong baby?" the elder was holding back a laugh as the boy in front of him was starting to look around hastily.

"mhm no its just..babe hold on to me! i-i'm floating away!" hyunjin then bursted out cackling as the younger was acting so frantic, eyes widened as he grip onto him.

"ok lets get you back to bed." he attempted to carry jeongin but he swat his hand away, suddenly focusing on the hash dessert left overs.

"no wait...these little brownie babies are talking to me." he whispered and leaned into the treats as if he could really hear it talk. "what is it? oh no...jinnie."

hyunjin raised a brow when the boy burst out in tears, lips puckering into a pout as he held one brownie in his hand.

"he asked me why i ate his family and now nobody's gonna take care of him and his little siblings. jinnie i'm a murderer!" his sobs got louder and the elder couldn't help but laugh obnoxiously.

"oh no." he faked gasp. "guess you better take care of them now, innie."

"don't worry, me and hyunjin will adopt you and your siblings. we'll be great parents, right?" the blue haired boy was now calm as if he didn't just sob like a five year old throwing tantrums earlier.

he was looking at the brownie in his hand with wide eyes. hyunjin wondered what he was seeing right now and he kind of wish he was high as well.

"yes that's right baby. you'll be a great daddy." the blonde cooed while pinching his cheeks.

jeongin giggled, remembering a certain memory he never got to erase from his head even when he wanted to.

"'daddy'. i used to call him that." the boy set the brownie back in the plate and tucked them in using a stray tissue he saw.

this immediately caught hyunjin's attention and he had a feeling the younger wasn't talking about his father.

"who?" the blonde walked closer to hold his face as he was spinning so aggressively with a huge smile that never left his lips.

"oh no one it's just a friend of mine." jeongin was giggling uncontrollably and it's making the other one pissed. "we're just friends he said...but the last time i remember, friends don't kiss, right?"

hyunjin was gripping the counter hard that his knuckles were turning white. what he's hearing right now is driving him crazier than he already is and he knows he couldn't say anything or else he'll regret it later.

"who exactly is this friend of yours?" he growled lowly, letting go of the marble tiles to grip on the younger's thighs.

"mhm that's what he would always do and he said it was normal." jeongin smiled at him while the blonde's face fell in realization. "i never agreed with what he wants but he would always drag me to his house and remove my clothes when we're in his room."
