Panic shot through my whole body as I ran through what seemed like an endless void.
My heart was pounding hard in my chest and my lungs were sore and tired due to the lack of oxygen.
I didn't know where I was running. I didn't know what was after me but I felt a terrifying presence, chasing me ruthlessly.
I didn't dare to look behind me. I was too scared. My legs moved on their own, carrying me to my unknown destination.
Horrible screeches and grumbles echoed behind me.
It's close.
Too close.
Too -
Suddenly I lost touch with the ground beneath me and I found myself falling.
Time seemed to slow down as I looked up to see dark red glowing eyes, staring down at me as I fell.
A knot formed in my stomach and I released a short breath as I closed my eyes. In any second I might hit the ground - if there was ground.
A sharp pain tore through my body. I felt dizzy and my head buzzed. Every breath, I took, hurt.
As I was laying on the ice-cold ground, tears started to run down my face.
I tasted blood on my tongue and everything got blurry.
[Y. . . . ./N]. . .
I heard a bone-chilling deep voice growl my name.
[Y. . ./N]. . .
I heard steps echoing, sluggishly making their way in my direction. I started sobbing.
"[Y/N]!"
I heard someone shout my name and I opened my eyes quickly.
I looked into Offenderman's blank face, his voice sounding both worried and slightly terrified.
It took me a while before I was able to take in my surroundings and realized I was in bed with him. He sat me up by grabbing my shoulders gently.
As he met my gaze, he calmed down and pulled me into a hug, running his fingers through my hair: "Darling, are you okay? You are shaking. What happened?"
I took in a shaky breath and wiped my tears off my face with the back of my hand.
"D-Did I wake you? I-I am sorry..", I whispered, my voice shaking a little.
My throat felt completely dry.
I wrapped my arms around Offenderman and buried my face in his chest.
"I heard that you were murmuring in your sleep but suddenly you started crying and twitching weirdly."
I stayed silent and tried to recall my dream. I couldn't.
"Something is happening.", Offenderman suddenly stated. He seemed much tenser now.
I furrowed my brows in confusion and rubbed his back. His skin felt incredibly soft.
"What do you mean?" I pulled away to look up at him.
"Your dream. It was different."
I still just looked at him, obviously confused.
"I couldn't enter your dream. I couldn't read your thoughts. I was completely locked out. I know you don't get affected by my roses but I know for sure that I can enter your dreams. Something locked me out."
"S-something- wh-what?" Offenderman got up and put on his clothes.
"Get dressed, love. We need to go to my brother."
"R-right now?", I asked, still completely stunned from what just happened.
