" Sultana, a disaster has happened!" Haci came inside my chambers and woke me up. When he mentioned disaster I feared if something bad happened to Murad, Selim and Suleyman.
" Haci, what is it?" I asked him afraidedly as I got up from my bed instantly.
" Şehzade Mehmed... He called main Lawyer and he wants to change the law of fracticide. He wants to get the rule back. He will sign it very soon. Sultana, disaster will happen if you allow him to do it." Haci said and he was almost afraid as I was.
I couldn't believe my son would get this law back just to make sure throne is awaiting for him. He would kill all of his brothers just because of that.
I got up instantly and dressed up. I ran towards Mehmed's chambers, but no one was inside.
" Where is Mehmed?" I asked guards which were standing in front of his chambers.
" He went to walk with Lawyer Efendi, there they will discuss what they will do." Guard said to me as he was really afraid of me.
" Have they signed it?" I asked him.
" They have, Sultana. Paper is ready but needs to be given to Lawyer Efendi." Guard said to me.
" Thank you." I said to him and ran back to harem.
I had perfect idea what I will do to make Mehmed's plan not to work. I couldn’t believe what my son was ready to do.
I went to my youngest son Ahmed's chambers to see where is he. He was playing with Lalezar which was taking care of him.
" Ahmed, would you like to see your brother Mehmed?" I asked him and he got up immediatley and ran to hug me. He loved Mehmed a lot and of course he would go with me to Mehmed's chambers.
We came in front of them, and the same guard which told me everything, allowed me to go inside. We came inside and obviously Mehmed wasn't there.
" Valide, where is Mehmed brother? I want to see him!" Ahmed said sadly when he haven't seen Mehmed.
" Mehmed should come soon. Will we wait for him here?" I asked Ahmed.
" Yes!" Ahmed said and continued to play with his wooden horse around Mehmed's chambers.
I went to Mehmed's working desk where there were a lot of paper. I saw the one where he wanted to get law of fracticide again.
I knew I had no more time so I rewritted the whole law to look identically on another paper, but what I have written is to end the law of fracticide. I knew Mahmud wouldn't look at the rule again so I could do it very easily.
While Ahmed was playing around Mehmed's room, I found way immediatley and signed it with Mehmed's sign.

" What are you doing, mommy?" Ahmed asked me as he was playing next to me. I was worried that he saw me what I am doing.
"Can you keep this as a secret between us?" I went down on my knees so I could be same height as my love Ahmed and looked at him. Ahmed nodded me.
