Sultan Selim III. became Sultan when he was only 19 years old. He became Sultan when his father suddendly passed away. Staying without the mother another day, he has been depressed for the first few month of his rule. But that quickly changed, because Selim soon got better and started rulling the country. Selim took his army to Black Sea where they captured big part of Russian lands. Selim was known as brave and intelligent Sultan between his people.


He didn't even expand him harem a lot. What is known is that he had three concubines and that he never married legally, because he wanted to make them all equal. First concubine was Meylisah which gave him three daughters Emine, Zeynep and Afife. Second concubine was Seniha which gave him daughter Mihrişah, named after his beloved mother which passed away at the day he ascended the throne. And his third concubine was unknown to public, they only knew she was venetian. She gave birth to a son named Murad, which died while he was only three months old.

Selim ruled only for 6 years. He passed away due to problems with liver, same reason because his father passed away. As he had no male heirs in his short regin, his younger brother Suleyman ascended the throne.

Sultan Suleyman III. became Sultan when he was 24 years old, after his brother's sudden death. Suleyman never excepted to be a Sultan.

People remember him as a good man. He did a lot of charity work. He helped people as he paid their debts, and he made sure every child in Istanbul is going to school. He built Suleyman Mosque in Sarajevo which still stands there until today. He didn't want to go to a war, but he always did everything by diplomatic way. He kept peace with Venetia and Russia.

He had three concubines. His first concubine was also his legal wife, Hatice Gevherhan Haseki Sultan. With her he had three daughters, Gulbahar, Gulnuh and Gulsah, and a son, Murad, which ascended the throne after him and became Murad V.  His second conubine was bosnian slave named Rabia, who gave birth to his six sons, Selim, Ahmed, Mehmed, Mahmud, Yusuf and Omer. None of Rabia's sons outlived the time to even have a chance for the throne, as Murad V. ruled for many years. His third consort was russian slave named Nurbahar, whom he had a daughter with, Mihrişah Sultana, named after his beloved mother.

Suleyman died in 1684 due to complicarions of old age after being on the throne for almost 30 years, and being one of the most long regining Sultans.

Mahinever Sultana enjoyed her life in Edirne with her beloved husband. They lived happily, even though she missed her family as she was far from them. She never had her own children, but she adopted children who stayed without their parents and treated them as their own. She adopted a total of 13 children. Mahinever died in 1692 due to old age.

Mihrimah Sultana's husband died soon after her marriage. She married once again few months later to Kara Yusuf Paşa, whom he had two sons with, Mustafa and Iskender. Her husband died soon after their wedding, so she married third time for Abdulaziz Paşa, whom he had with a daughter named Halime Mihrişah. Mihrimah died in 1703 due to old age and outlived everyone from her family.

Mahpeyker Sultana lived in happy marriage with her husband in Istanbul. They had a total of four children named Ali, Yusuf, Davut and Omer. She died in 1700 due to old age.

Ismihan Kaya Sultana wanted to have children with her husband so badly, but luck was never on her side. She finally got pregnant after five years of trying, but her newborn was born already dead. After that, Ismihan Kaya took care of Mehmed's secret daughter Neslihan because her mother Azize passed away. Ismihan Kaya died in 1663 due to another miscarriage.

Şehzade Ahmed was appointed as Gouverneor of Amasya. He married with his favourite concubine of greek origin, Burnaz Ayse, whom he had a total of eleven children. Eight daughters and three sons. Ahmed and his children never wanted to mix into state jobs and acession to the throne. He always supported his brothers who were on the throne. He opened his own family job in Amasya where he worked with his family. He died in 1681 due to health problems.

Safiye Sultana married for her distant cosuin Sultanzade Ibrahim Paşa. They lived happily in their Palace on Bosphorus that Sultan gifted them with. They had a son named Mehmed, named after her brother which was killed. Safiye died in 1661 while giving birth to second child which didn't survive.

Şehzade Murad, son of late Şehzade Mehmed and Gulnuş Sultana, was took to the Palace where he lived. He died while he was only 6 years old due to smallpox.

Gevherhan Sultana lived happy life with Silahtar until he died only three years after Murad. After that, Gevherhan turned to religion. She died 16 years later than her husband.

Atike Sultana died only three years later than her brother Sultan Murad Khan, due to problems in pregnancy.

Mihrişah Sultan's brother Mahmud Paşa died in Battle on Black Sea when he went as a commander of army of Sultan Selim.

Mihrişah Sultan's children gave to build Mosque of Mihrişah Sultana in Istanbul, in name of their mother. They made sure their mother is remembered as one of most influential women in the Empire.

Mihrişah will always be remembered as joyful woman. She would bring happiness wherever she would come. She is remembered as woman Sultan Murad loved with his whole heart.

Stories still tell how their love was pure, and how after marrying Mihrişah, Murad didn't have any other wife. He always stayed faithful to his legal wife.

Their children made sure that their parents will be remembered in history.

Mihrişah Sultana was burried next to her beloved husband Murad whom he spent 20 years with. Their love is remembered as one of the biggest, and is still being talked about.
