EARTHION(ANG BAGONG SANSINUKOB) 11

THE KID

AICE's POV

"Huy! Sa'n ka pupunta?" Dominique asked Kevin. They're so f*ckin' noisy. We'll be caught because of them.

"Mag-c-C.R., sasama ka?" Agad kumunot ang noo ni Dominique.

"Yuck! Ang lamog mo! Walang C.R. dito!"

Hindi na sumagot si Kevin at pumunta nalang kung saan.

Tss. What a nonsense arguement. Hindi ko alam kung bakit ba nagsasayang ang mga tao ng laway nila, just to say those unuseful words.

"Let's gooo!" Hinila siya ni Dominique sa gilid ng gate kung saan kami kasalukuyang nagtatago. We had reached their neighbor's gate. We have to hide, there's a monster at the top of their neighbor's roof .

"Sira ulo!" Pabulong na bulyaw ni Dominque kay Kevin. Kumawala naman si Kevin sa mahigpit na pagkakahawak ni Dominique sa kanya.

Nagpalitan ng masamang tingin ang dalawa at wala akong pakialam. Sa sobrang ingay nila, hindi nalalayong mauna pa silang mamatay kaysa makapasok sa loob.

"You're making me think about killing the monster first, or I have to kill you first." Pagbabanta ko sa mga ito. I don't wanna consume a single energy just to restrain them, I have some more important things to use this at.

"Okay. Chill dude. Chill." May patapik-tapik pa sa balikat kong ngumisi si Kevin.

Naghintay pa kami ng ilang minuto. We're waiting for the monster to go away from the area. Hindi namin pwedeng labanan ang halimaw dahil may naaninag kaming bata sa second floor ng bahay. He would probably be creeped out and screech once he sees the monster, which would attract more monsters. That's why we have to be patient.

"Ang tagal namang umalis n'yan," Kevin complained."At bakit nga pala tayo naghihintay dito? Lumaban na tayo." Agad naman itong hinarap ni Domique at hinawakan sa balikat.

"Isang bata pa nga lang ang sumisigaw, nahihirapan na kami. Pa'no pa kapag nakuha na namin 'yung nasa loob?"
Kevin's eyebrows automatically arched. Napaiiling-iling na lamang si Dominique.

Ilang sandali pa at unti-unting nawala ang halimaw sa paningin namin. "Now," then I rushed inside straight to the door while holding my sword. May tatlong bangkay kaming nadaanan patungong pintuan. Isang lalaki at babaeng medyo may edad na at isang dalagita na mukhang hindi lalampas sa kinse ang edad.

"Kevin and I will just take the van," Dominique sighfully said and left with Kevin.

I put the sword back into the scabbard, then I opened the wooden door in front of me and go straight to the staircase to find the kid on the second floor.

Where's that kid?! I opened almost all the doors but there's no sign of him anywhere. I was about to open the last door when I heard a bouncing ball from the stairway. Agad akong tumakbo papunta roon.

He's really there. Standing at the front of the staircase at the ground floor, giving me a hard stare. He moved his arm and pointed his left, where the creature with a big red eye is currently standing.

I jumped over the railings and pulled my sword out. Hindi ako nag-aksaya pa ng oras at sinugod ko ang halimaw. I was about to stab its eye but it sunddenly hit me. Agad nabasag ang lemesang yari sa bubog kung saan ako bumagsak. I immediately stood up, and pointed my sword at the monster in front of me. Nawalan na ko ng oras para indahin ang sakit.
