After the success of the Vietnamese summer concert in August 2014, it was time I got ready for the Vietnamese thanksgiving concert at Caesars Atlantic City. It was called The Melodies of the Stars 2. I got my concert tickets and tickets for our flight to Atlantic City and went to the Incheon International Airport. Whoosh goes the airplane. Now that I was in Atlantic City, I waited for Seo Yeji and Eugene to arrive at Caesars Casino. Oh, there they were, Seo Yeji and Eugene, who were greeted by me.

"The moment I've been waiting for is here," I said to Yeji and Eugene.
"I can't even wait for the Thanksgiving concert," Yeji said with an exciting tone.
"Neither can I. Besides, you got tickets for the concert, right?" Eugene said to me with her bright eyes.
"Yep, it's for you guys." We squealed with excitement and then we fanned ourselves.

After we handed the tickets to the security guard, we took our seats to enjoy the show although the show already started at 11pm and we were late. Before Phương Trang introduced her second song to us, I gave some good advice to Eugene, "Eugene ssi, since we're late and it's still ok, why won't we listen to her song so it will give us the-end-of-the-world-look? Okay?" Eugene nodded her head yes, but Yeji shouted, "No! This song will not give us the-end-of-the-world-look, but it will actually cheer us up. You know why? It's because being late is a bad experience and we must get over it!" Then I gave Yeji a thumbs-up when she said that. After that, we continued enjoying the show by listening to Phương Trang's duet song with Nguyễn Thắng, a male singer whom Yeji should admire above all after the New Year dance party at Bally's.

Then, it was time for Phan Đinh Tùng to perform on stage. But before that, Eugene had a prediction that I would sing a duet with Phan Đinh Tùng. I was like, "What the heck? I will sing a duet with Phan Đinh Tùng?" Eugene nodded and said, "Yes, because you look adorable to me and you're also perfect to sing a duet with him. I used to sing a duet with Phan Đinh Tùng, too, at a Vietnamese thanksgiving concert last year. But now, it's your turn to sing a duet on stage. Trust me." That's what she told me about. I will sing a duet with Phan Đinh Tùng for the first time.

When I went onstage and greeted Phan Đinh Tùng, knowing that I would sing a duet with him, I received a round of applause from the audience, especially Eugene and Yeji. They also said to me that 'you can do it, don't give up' and when I sang the first verse, I finally captured Phan Đinh Tùng's heart because my visual reminded him of Xin Rong Ge Ge in New My Fair Princess. He also shook his head so he could stop being high and continued our duet song. At the end, I took a thank-you bow in front of the audience and thanked Phan Đinh Tùng before I returned to my seat with Eugene and Yeji. Eugene and Yeji happily cheered for me because I finally made it.

"Great job! I can't believe you made it, Hyesun," Eugene said.
Yeji also said emphatically, "I told you that you could do it."

After the show ended, we left the seats and returned to our hotel room. The next day, we packed up our luggage and went to the Atlantic City airport to say our goodbyes. We also wished each other a happy Thanksgiving although we had to go our separate ways. Then, I went to the airplane for an on-time departure for Atlantic City. While the airplane was flying, I started to cry because I would also miss Eugene and Seo Yeji, too. No matter what, I would still remember them, my old friends.
