We finally arrived at the Caesars Casino, where Bolero Lover would be held, which would also be Jin Jihee's most favorite place in the world. We also headed to the hotel room and unpacked our clothes for the night, as well as our favorite things. Besides, I also unpacked my favorite American young adult novel, The Selection by Kiera Cass, and started to read it. And in the meantime, Bona and Jihee made their first vlog because it was 7pm and still early. Whenever we were hungry, we got our favorite snacks for each other to eat.
3 hours later, it was time for us to change our clothes for the concert. During that, I turned on new wave music on Spotify so we could concentrate easily. Jihee liked to listen to new wave, and so did Bona. Besides, I also changed the genre to an original soundtrack of Autumn Heart. It was named Reason by Jeong Il Yeong and that's the reason why the three of us changed into clothes that were inspired from that Kdrama.
"Now that we look like three versions of Eunsuh," Jihee looked at me and smiled.
"Maybe this Labor Day, we are looking forward to the first day of autumn," I agreed with a light-hearted character.
Bona also raised her voice happily, "Now we're ready for the show, right?"
Then, we left the hotel room and headed to the Circus Maximus Theater, reminiscing the day when me, Yeji, and Eugene headed to the same place. The show began with the band's opening performance, as well as their different vibes of music. Since we were enjoying the concert, I could see the images of Yeji and Eugene inside Jihee and Bona, and they were like new members of Three Amigas. Bolero Lover also included live performances of Phương Trang, Đàm Vĩnh Hưng, and Quang Toàn, which were just the warm-up for the show. After that, we saw other intense performances of other singers, such as Ý Lan, Giang Hồng Ngọc, Dương Triệu Vũ, Phượng Vũ and Quang Linh.
The most favorite performance I've ever watched was the duet between Đàm Vĩnh Hưng and Quang Linh. It seemed like I would ship them because this reminded me of the Boys' Love couple, despite that freaking LGBTQ+. Jihee also screamed in excitement because she was the ultimately rotten girl for them. If I were her, I would also ship Jihee and Bona because they were such a yuri couple. Besides American young adult novels, I also read yuri love stories although I just liked them, not into them.
After the show ended, we gave Đàm Vĩnh Hưng a round of applause for a great finish of A Thousand Words by Teresa Teng.
