1 year later, on March 17th, 2018, I realized it would be different from attending concerts with other sworn sisters. This would be the day I went to Atlantic City with Jiwoo, my most beloved sworn sister I've ever had. At first, I swore that I didn't want to attend another Vietnamese concert in Atlantic City because I just had to attend one concert at a time. But now, thanks to Jiwoo's plea, I agreed to go to Atlantic City with her for a Vietnamese concert. It was called Nguyễn Ngọc Ngạn's 26th Anniversary: World of Color, which would be held at Harrah's Atlantic City.
It started on March 16th, when I listened to my most favorite song in 2018, Never Be The Same by Camila Cabello. At that time, I no longer thought about attending other Vietnamese concerts in Atlantic City. Jiwoo walked downstairs and came to my sofa and said, "Hi, Hyesun." I turned to her and responded, "Hi, Jiwoo-unnie." I also offered her a sofa seat and asked, "Do you have something new to tell me?"
Jiwoo nodded and said, "Yep, I have a quick question for you. Do you want to go to Atlantic City for a new concert with me?"
I smiled and asked Jiwoo another question, "What makes you think I would go to Atlantic City with you."
Jiwoo replied with a wistful and shy tone, "Well if you do, I will make you the best sworn sister I've had. How's that sound?"
I nodded and said, "Yes, I would love to go to Atlantic City with you." And finally, Jiwoo gave me a fist bump of comradery and I finally could go to A.C. with my most beloved sworn sister.
The next evening, at 10pm, we finally arrived at Harrah's Atlantic City after we checked everything in our luggages, such as 2 flight tickets, 2 concert tickets, and our passports. Then, we headed to the hotel room and changed into our casual clothes for our girls night. After heading to Harrah's Concert Venue, we had so many ways to do what we wanted while waiting for the show to start. For example, we took so many selfies and watched some episodes of Stairway to Heaven on Jiwoo's iPhone. And now, the show has officially begun with Tân Hy Khánh's live performance.
Wow, this reminded me of one of the bad boys in elementary school, or in every Kdrama. Jiwoo even loved him so bad, anyways, and we also continued enjoying the show with live performances by Thanh Hoa, Xuân Phú, Tuấn Anh, Phương Trang, Don Hồ, Vân Quang Long, Như Ý, and Minh Tuyết. She also made a livestream on her iPhone for her keepsake as well. Her livestream was later viral thanks to lots of comments from her super fans, as well as good friends. Don Hồ was my most favorite character because he caught my attention with his charms while performing on stage.
In the meantime, Jiwoo said to me, "Hyesun ah, this show was such a world of color thanks to Nguyễn Ngọc Ngạn's appearance as the MC of the show." I nodded in agreement as we continued to watch the final performance by Ngọc Anh. After the show came to an end, we left the theatre and headed to the venue, where I took a picture with Phương Trang, or maybe Tân Hy Khánh. After that, we went back to the hotel room and spent our time watching other episodes of Stairway To Heaven. That's what I'm talking about. That show was such a carousel of color.
