2 months later, on July 2nd, 2015, Soyeon invited me to a Vietnamese summer concert, Miss Coastal Vietnam Global 2015, in Atlantic City. This was the second time she invited me to a concert and also a Vietnamese beauty pageant that was held in the U.S. But first, I woke up and told Jiwoo that I had a beautiful dream. I was the new Miss Korea. Then, Jiwoo scoffed, "Oh, you are already beautiful and I don't think you can be Miss Korea when you're an actress. The important thing is you're always beautiful no matter how you look on the outside."
After I packed up the luggage to go to the airport, I said goodbye to Jiwoo and met Soyeon at the airport again. We flew to Atlantic City, where Miss Coastal Vietnam Global would be held. I also made another vlog at the hotel room with her, too. At night, we changed ourselves into new Cinderella-inspired dresses. Then, I checked my watch to see what time it was and it was 10:50pm. Therefore, we left the hotel room and rushed to the Caesars Circus Maximus Theatre because the Miss Coastal Vietnam Global pageant was about to start.
Known as the Fourth of July celebration, we could see so many beautiful contestants who represent the United States, Vietnam and other countries. Besides, we could also see live performances of so many popular singers on stage except for the band, who were backstage. Kim Soyeon also told me a knock-knock joke while we were watching the national ao dai competition.
"Knock-knock," Soyeon started.
I responded, "Who's there?"
"Orange."
I curiously asked, "Orange who?"
"Aren't you glad there wasn't any Miss Korea onstage?" Soyeon then giggled, and so did I.
Then, we continued enjoying the show by watching the next live performances of other singers, especially Dương Triệu Vũ. I still loved Dương Triệu Vũ. The most favorite part we've ever watched was the evening gown competition. The reason is because many contestants couldn't stop getting our attention in their evening gowns and reminded us of our favorite Disney movie, Cinderella, although we were jealous of the comparison between their gowns and our gowns.
Finally, after we spent much of our time thinking about who would be the new Miss Coastal Vietnam Global, we had made our choice. Kim Soyeon would go with Nguyễn Siêu Quỳnh Chi, and so would I. And yes, Nguyễn Siêu Quỳnh Chi was our final choice! We couldn't stop clapping and jumping for joy because Miss Coastal Vietnam Global 2015 had come to an end. We left the theatre to see if I would take a picture with any singer. Soyeon asked, "Hey Hyesun, how about you take a picture with Dương Triệu Vũ, that guy in black?" I nodded my head yes and came to Dương Triệu Vũ, who was still daydreaming about his LGBT music video, and said to him, "Anh. Anh gì ơi." Then, he was startled and woke up from his imagination.
"Em rất thích phần trình diễn của anh. Anh cho em xin chữ ký và chụp hình với anh nha." (English translation: I can't believe your performance on stage was great. Mind if I have your autograph and take a picture with you?)
"Ok em gái. You better believe it," Duong Trieu Vu said with a clear mind. Click goes the camera, or Soyeon's iPhone.
Then, he gave me his new album with my autograph on which made me awe-inspiring. Soyeon also led me to the hotel room for our bedtime. Goodnight and happy 4th of July!
