On September 3rd, 2017, the day Asia 80 would be held in Atlantic City, I had a dream that couldn't be more beautiful and also what Lee Jiah predicted during our summer vacation in Orlando. In my dream, I was Cinderella at the grand ballroom and danced through the song, Fruhlingstimmen, with Sunghoon, my prince charming, until the clock struck 12am. I suddenly woke up from that dream and realized it was 12am, the time I got my luggage packed up, as well as 2 flight tickets and 2 concert tickets, and rushed to the Gimpo International Airport. It was also time I flew to Atlantic City at 11am for the Asia 80's Celebration. Luckily, I finally found Sujeong waiting for me at the Atlantic City airport and waved at me, and I ran to her and hugged her because we had met again.
"Sujeong, long time no see!"
Sujeong smiled and said, "You've never changed for 4 months! How could I forget about you?"
I giggled, "Since we've met again, I'd like to invite you to a new Vietnamese concert in Atlantic City, Asia 80: The Celebration of New Beginnings, which will be held today. How's that sound?"
Sujeong nodded happily, "Yep, I would love to."
Then, we arrived at Caesars Atlantic City and bought some ice cream at Tazza on the occasion of our 4-month friendship as well. After we finished our ice cream, we headed to the hotel room and took a 2 hour water break until 1pm. We were finally ready for Asia 80 and changed into our black and pink party gowns, as well as wearing natural makeup. We ran to the Circus Maximus Theater and gave tickets to the security guard for our seats. And now, Asia 80 has officially begun with Cardin's New Wave Medley, featuring Chosen and Antonious Maximus.

Sujeong was always addicted to Brother Louie and Cheri Cheri Lady and couldn't help enjoying new wave, as well as Vpop. The second musical number, LK Xe Đạp Ơi & Lời Nói Yêu Đầu Tiên, reminded us of our youth drama, especially my TV series, School 2013. We continued enjoying the show by watching another new wave performance by Tuyết Vy and Linh Đan. It was called the ABBA Medley.
"Achoo," I suddenly sneezed as I covered my mouth with my elbow. Then, we watched Khanh Tran and Duy Thành's musical number, Có Một Ngày. At the end, we felt stunned when we heard their final quote that was the same as the name of the song. After that, we watched the rest of the show until the finale. Yay, the show had come to an end at 5:30pm!
After the show ended, well, the first show, we could hear Giọt Mưa Thu, the closing song, and felt comfortable of so many singers and MCs who reunited to say goodbye. We went back to our hotel room and changed into our comfortable ones. Then, Sujeong said when we were on our bed, "Hyesun ah, I have a present for you." I asked, "What present? Can you tell me right now?" Sujeong pulled out a book from her luggage and handed it to me, "I got you the best-selling novel by Jessica Brody. It's called In Some Other Life."
"I love it. Thank you so much," I smiled as I held the novel.
"It will give you something special about body swap and friendship."
At 7pm, when we realized it's red carpet time, we changed into different gowns with different colors and went to the Palladium Ballroom, where we met our favorite singers under Asia Entertainment, especially Cardin, Lê Quốc Tuấn, and Duy Thành. If Sujeong was Cardin's biggest fan, then I was Lê Quốc Tuấn's biggest fan. We also took so many pictures with our IPhones. We were also excited for the second show at 9:30pm so we couldn't stop enjoying it until the end. That's what I'm talking about.
