It was my first day in Orlando, Florida and I was even more excited to meet another sworn sister for the summer vacation. Her name was Lee Jiah, a South Korean actress known for Beethoven Virus. She was waiting for me at the Disney's Yacht Club Resort and I luckily came to her and said, "Jiah ssi, I'm here!" Jiah greeted me and said, "I'm so happy to see you and our summer vacation will be wonderful in Orlando." This was also Jiah's first day in Florida because it was her happiest place in the world. After one hour of taking a rest at the hotel room, we changed into our clothes and went to Epcot, the Experimental Prototype Community of Tomorrow. If we went to the Spaceship Earth, a World Celebration attraction, to learn about the history of communication and time traveling, then we went to so many World Showcase attractions that also included Asian countries. I loved both of them because every image has its own idea. What I liked the most about Epcot was when we went to the Mexico pavilion and had dinner at the San Angel Inn Restaurante. Jiah liked the San Angel Inn Restaurante, too.
On the second day, we went to the Magic Kingdom and what inspired us was Cinderella Castle and Disney's PhilharMagic. We also went to another attraction after Disney's PhilharMagic, It's A Small World. This ride also reminded me of the same song in Disney's Sing-Along Songs: Disneyland Fun. This was also my early birthday wish that later came true. We also went to the Disney Springs and ate dinner. This was also for my early birthday dinner and we also gave a toast to each other.
"Cheers, my darling," Lee Jiah said with a smile.
I responded in Korean, "Geonbae."
"Happy 28th early birthday to you, my darling sworn sister."
"Gomawo, unnie. I hope it's not only the 28th, but it will also be the 38th.. 280th as well.
Jiah nodded, "Yep, and by then we will be angels in heaven." Then we gave another toast to each other. In the meantime, what Jiah was interested in was my short hair. "OMG. You look different with your new hairstyle..like Snow White."
I comforted a bit, "That's okay. The reason is because I always look beautiful no matter what."
On the third day, we went to Disney's Hollywood Studios, which was also Jiah's dream that became reality. We spent our youth for our acting careers to take a glance at the Chinese Theatre, where The Great Movie Ride was closed, and watched a movie of the next generation of Star Wars storytellers at the Launch Bay Theater. Oh, and the best part about Disney's Hollywood Studios was when we went to the Muppet*Vision3D. Jiah also loved the performances of the Muppets, especially when Miss Piggy sang Dream A Little Dream of Me. After that, we went back to the Yacht Club resort and decided to change into our swimsuits in so many outdoor pools. Wasn't that fun? Later that night, we went to Disney Springs again and ate dinner at Morimoto Asia.
On the fourth day, we went to Disney's Animal Kingdom and went to the first attraction called Kilimanjaro Safaris. I could also imagine that we went to a zoo and visited all the animals. Then, we went to a 3D show called It's Tough to Be a Bug, as well as The Festival of the Lion King, which was also our most favorite show at Disney's Animal Kingdom. Later that night, after another romantic but upbeat early birthday dinner for me at Epcot's Les Chefs de France, we went back to the Animal Kingdom for a big surprise, Avatar Flight of Passage. During the ride, we couldn't imagine flying on the great leonopteryx, especially since Jiah had so many emotions for her first time.
"Hyesun ssi, I think it's time to go to the Blizzard Beach Water Park although it should be raining", Jiah said to me. Although it rained at the Blizzard Beach Water Park, we still had so much fun swimming in one of the pools to handle a bad experience. This was also for our last day in Orlando because we packed our luggage to go home. And in my opinion, it was a pleasure to have Lee Jiah as my sworn sister and enjoy our first summer vacation in Florida.
