"What the hell is this, Ashley?" I shouted, the packet in my hand. Her loud scream had woken me up and completely oblivious, I stomped into the kitchen only to meet an upset Ashely running up and down after she shoved that stupid package into my hand.

"I don't know, it was on the floor outside the fucking door. Fuck, Harry this is bad. It's so bad..." She couldn't get a grip on herself, kept running around and throwing her hands in the air. I've never seen her so upset and nervous.

"Who put it in front of the door?" I asked seriously and Ashley rolled her eyes. "Fuck, I wish I knew." she hissed with her arms crossed. "You didn't see anyone?" I asked as I leaned against the counter.

"No, I would have told you, dumbass. I opened the door after the bell rang and then there was no one there, just the packet." she told me when she finally stopped running around. "If it had been Kaiden or one of his people, we'd probably be dead by now," she muttered.

"Still, we can't rule out that possibility," I said firmly. "We have to expect anything. Maybe it was our fathers or another person who has a score to settle with us. But I'm pretty sure it was Kaiden."

Ashely now sat down on one of the stools and nervously ran her fingers through her hair. Her eyes were wide with panic and her chest was moving rapidly.

I looked again at the packet and unlike Ashley, I wasn't nervous, I was just incredibly pissed and furious. "Whoever brought us this package knows that we are both here. It's not safe anymore, we need to leave and-"

"A package full of pictures of your gang and my unit is left on our doorstep and you're thinking of running even further away? God Harry, what if something happens to them?" Ashely interrupted me screaming. "I could never forgive myself for that. After all, they're only dragged into this because of us."

I don't like to see her so upset and nervous, my stomach tightens at the sight and I feel sick. It is also an unusual state, because otherwise she is cold and monotonous most of the time. Like me, she hardly shows any feelings, which is why this emotional outburst must really mean something...

What can I do to make it stop...I want her to feel better and I have no idea why I want that so badly. But I want it.

I walked over to her and she looked up at me with bloodshot eyes, I hesitantly put my arms around her and pulled her into a hug. That should calm her down, hopefully.
