It had been a good decision to go home instead of to a local hospital. With the severity of my wounds, especially the knife stab in my thigh, they would have definitely called the police and neither Harry nor I could afford that....

Because I had been ignoring my boss for weeks...he wanted news about the Falling case and was getting impatient.

He probably thought I was in the middle of an important investigation that would lead me to Falling and that's why I went undercover, but nobody suspected that my lack of contact with the central CIA had a completely different reason....and it was better that way.

However, if he had received the message that I was in the hospital, he would have given me a visit that I could not have avoided. Literally, because running was not really something in which I currently shone.

Luckily for us, Louis was talented enough to patch Harry and me up. Without him we would have been really lost which is why I am really thankful to have him.

There was a strange atmosphere during his first visits, this tension came from the fact that now everyone knew about our relationship, but slowly everyone got used to the information and found their peace with it.

"I still can't believe fucking Niall knew before I did," Louis said shaking his head as he changed my bandage for the third time. However, he couldn't hide his smile as he tried to furrow his brow defiantly.

It had been two days since the rescue operation of the two teams and Louis had come to check on our injuries and change the bandages. He decided to be pissed that he was one of the last to get the message about us. But to be honest, I preferred that to uncomfortable silence.

"In my defense, he found out himself when he paid us a surprise visit," I replied with an innocent smile.

"Nope, that's no excuse," he said playfully miffed. "I'll remember that....and the only way you two can fix this is if I'm the first to know about you having kids."

"Fuck off, Lou." Harry shouted from the kitchen. "Now leave her alone."

"I'm just kidding, relax, Styles." Louis shouted back in his direction. Then he finished his work and packed up his things, before he got up, however, he winked mischievously at me and whispered, "remember what I said, Scotty."

I chuckled and nodded slowly while grinning from ear to ear. I liked having Louis around, he lightened the mood and also the visits of the others brought life into the cold house.
