Thank you to each and every one of you who have accompanied me on this journey and supported me along the way, whether it was through comments, votes or just opening my story to read it. You have made this experience special and I promise you that this is not the last book I will write!

At this point, I would like to say a special thank you to my two best friends who not only inspired the characters Layla and Claire, but also motivated and supported me as an author. If I hadn't had you, this story would never have become what it is today and I thank you with all my heart for that! <3

I will forever remember how we spent hours talking about this story and its content. You all don't know how many times I sat at home thinking and talking with "Layla" over face time about what should happen in the next chapter. For the bets, for example, we thought about several versions of what they could lead to and then chose one. It was like that all the time with important decisions that determined the course of the story.

Writing is something I have always kind of enjoyed as much as making up stories, but I never thought I would find so much comfort in it. If you would have asked me a year ago if I ever see myself writing a book in the future, I probably would have laughed out loud. Especially since I'm still in school at the moment.

Well, here I am almost a year later with a finished story... who's laughing now, huh? Take that, eighteen year old me.

I have no idea what the future holds or how long I'll keep writing, I guess I'll just do it for as long as I like. Please promise me that you dare to make decisions, which may seem "stupid" at first, because I bet with you that exactly these things will give you the most joy. It was the same for me and I am more than happy to have discovered writing for myself in this way.

Now a few words about my two characters Ashely and Harry: Writing and creating them both has brought me a lot of joy and I can't put into words how proud I am of their individual development. In their story together there was no hero and no villain, both became what their environment made them and both needed each other to become better and to learn from each other.

The world of these two has absorbed me completely over the course of the story and I can't imagine what it's like not to write or think about this story every day. However, all good things come to an end.

And as they say, you should stop when it's best. Therefore I have decided not to write a sequel. I'm sorry to all of you who are so attached to these characters and have found comfort in their story, I feel for you, but I'm not a fan of sequels myself as I find most of the time it destroys the created story.

Maybe one day I'll change my mind about sequels, but for now that's not going to happen.

But there is also a positive news: I don't know exactly when, but in the near future I will start writing a new story. It will be enemies to lovers again and of course very kinky... stay tuned ;)

A huge thank you for reading and (hopefully) finishing this story. I appreciate the shit out of you and am glad that you like to read my bullshit, because for now I won't stop hehe
