Jiang Cheng and Wen Qing were back at Yunmeng. Jiang Yanli and Jin Zixuan greeted them then Jiang Yanli spoke:
"A-Cheng, where are the children?"
Jiang Cheng:
"They stayed in Gusu as they will soon go on a night-hunt."
Jin Zixuan:
"Wen Ning?"
Jiang Cheng:
"He is in Gusu too."
Jin Zixuan asked another question:
"Where are Suibian and Chenqing?"
Jaiang Cheng:
"Given to their rightful owners. A-jie, we have to remove Wei Wuxian's memorial tablet."
Jiang Yanli:
"Xianxian, is he... back?"
Jiang Cheng nodded. Jiang Yanli's eyes were glowing just like thirteen years ago. She had a very warm smile, a smile that people saw on her face long ago, it was her smile for A-Xian. Jiang Yanli knew that if Wei Wuxian didn't come right away, he must have been in the middle of something very critical. Jiang Cheng said:
"A-jie, you are already defending him, he has been gone for thirteen years."
Jiang Yanli said:
"A-Cheng, you are being naughty!"
All four of them giggled together, it had been a long while since they giggled like this, the last time they giggled like this, Wei Wuxian was still around. Wen Qing spoke:
"Enough, enough. Let's just eat, we are hungry."
Jiang Yanli nodded and they went to a table. It had been a while since they had a meal like this. Jiang Yanli and Jin Zixuan went to the kitchen to serve the food. They were both now carrying trays and a variety of food. They sat down and started eating. When they were done with eating, Jiang Cheng and Jiang Yanli went to the ancestral hall and removed Wei Wuxian's memorial tablet. Jiang Yanli looked at it and said:
"I am happy that A-Xian is back."
Jiang Cheng:
"Me too A-jie, me too."
Jiang Cheng hugged Jiang Yanli tightly and buried his head on her shoulder. Jiang Yanli's hug was very warm, warmer than his father's. Jiang Cheng was crying, Jiang Yanli said:
"A-Cheng, what is wrong?"
Jiang Cheng:
"It is weird that Wei Wuxian and Lan Rin woke up at the same place at the same time and shortly after them, Wen Ning moved."
Jiang Yanli:
"You are right. A-Cheng, did you hear anything weird?"
Jiang Cheng:
"No, A-jie. What happened?"
Jiang Yanli:
"A-Xuan and I heard some graves being dug so we dispatched some disciples for that while you were gone. They said that they saw cultivators with masks, whoever they are, they are hiding their faces. A-Xuan already dealt with the nearby graveyards; there are missing bodies. The disciples were scared to report it to you."
Jiang Cheng nodded:
"Even if the graves are fixed, I want to go to the graveyards."
Jiang Yanli nodded. Jiang Cheng and Jin Zixuan left, went to the graveyard, Jin Zixuan said:
