He loves him. He confess, but he got turned down.
But why?
Why is it every time he got rejected by Tsukishima, he could see clearly in those golden-brown eyes tells othe...

The alarm on his phone shook [Name] awake.
He sighed and fumbled sluggishly for his phone on the nightstand. The time on the phone screen was 5:47 a.m., prompting him to sit up in his bed, yawn, and stretch his limbs while hearing some satisfying pops.
He and his grandmother spoke through video call last night, which lasted late at night. Their chat consisted of him listening to his grandmother rant about how much she missed her grandchild and wished she could accompany him to Japan.
Shaking his head, [Name] got out of bed and went about his morning routine.
...
He walked into the classroom, sat down, and yawned, completely oblivious to his classmates' cooing and letting out some small squeals. He then closing his eyes as he drifted off to sleep.
"...name]..."
"[Nickname]..."
"Nickname."
[Name] awoken from his sleep as he opened his eyes, only to clashed with golden brown irises. The [color]-rette sat up and blinked until his vision cleared, only to find Yamaguchi and Tsukishima staring down at him.
"Class is already over?" [Name] wondered as he noticed some of his classmates chatting while others left. "Yeah, you slept through the entire class, and sensei just let you since you have a visible dark circle under your eyes," Tsukishima muttered as Yamaguchi nodded.
"What Tsukki says, and it's already lunchtime. Let's go have a meal on the rooftop!" Yamaguchi grinned, before hauling the two out of the classroom and purposefully shoved [Name] near to Tsukishima.
Out of nowhere, [Name] suddenly placed his head on Tsukishima's shoulder, who flinched at the unexpected contact. Yamaguchi grinned internally as he peered at Tsukishima, who gulped when [Name] nuzzled his head on his neck, leaning a bit of his weight to the secretly panicking Tsukishima.
"Sorry I'm just tired..."
"I...uhh I-it's okay."
...
"Eh? You brought a guitar?"
Tsukishima asked, now that he noticed the case that was slung on the teen's shoulder earlier, [Name] then removed the guitar from its case. "You can play?" Yamaguchi curiously asked as [Name] nod in response. "I'll just play what I had on my mind, is that okay?" [Name] asked as he saw the two nodded, waiting for him to start.
Maybe it's the way you say my name Maybe it's the way you play your game But it's so good, I've never known anybody like you But it's so good, I've never dreamed of nobody like you
And I've heard of a love that comes once in a lifetime And I'm pretty sure that you are that love of mine
On the rooftop, a tranquil tone with a tinge of sadness echoed; they were the only ones present, and all you could hear was the strumming and the person who sang that song.
'Cause I'm in a field of dandelions Wishing on every one that you'll be mine, mine And I see forever in your eyes I feel okay when I see you smile, smile Wishing on dandelions all of the time Praying to God that one day you'll be mine Wishing on dandelions all of the time, all of the time
A song about a person wishing and praying that the one they love would become theirs. Just one day, they hope it will come true. Like [Name] did back then.
I think that you are the one for me 'Cause it gets so hard to breathe When you're looking at me I've never felt so alive and free When you're looking at me I've never felt so happy
And I've heard of a love that comes once in a lifetime And I'm pretty sure that you are that love of mine
Tsukishima eyed the teen who's strumming his guitar, recalling that this was the song that [Name] had been humming at the time they were in middle school.
'Cause I'm in a field of dandelions Wishing on every one that you'll be mine, mine And I see forever in your eyes I feel okay when I see you smile, smile Wishing on dandelions all of the time Praying to God that one day you'll be mine Wishing on dandelions all of the time, all of the time
Dandelion, into the wind you go Won't you let my darling know? Dandelion, into the wind you go Won't you let my darling know that?
He notices how focused [Name] was on his guitar and how he sung the song with sincerity. Tsukishima realized how different the teen is from the [Name] he knew before.
I'm in a field of dandelions Wishing on every one that you'll be mine, mine And I see forever in your eyes I feel okay when I see you smile, smile Wishing on dandelions all of the time Praying to God that one day you'll be mine Wishing on dandelions all of the time, all of the time
His own eyes finally meet the suddenly gleaming [color] orbs. Their surroundings shift out of the blue, a field of dandelions surrounds them as the wind passes, Yamaguchi isn't there, just the two of them, just like how the chorus of the song goes.
I'm in a field of dandelions Wishing on every one that you'll be mine, mine
