4 - Childish

i'm in the room, it's a typical tuesday night

tuesday came, a day after the movie. jae suk finished his work early, but still is worried about mika. he didn't know why, no exact reason but he felt guilty.

he sat on his couch and ran his hands through his hair, "what mika said is right. but what if hyori gets more mad at me if i do what mika says?"

he got startled at his phone ringing. it was hyori. "hello?"

"oppa~~ let's go for a date tonight!" hyori said with a bright tone. jae suk got confused and chuckled, "weren't you just mad at me yesterday?"

"what? no, i wasn't. why would you think that? my head hurts so much yesterday, i have to rest early." hyori explained. jae suk whispered to himself, confused, "because of my ignorance, mika got angry at me."

"what did you say, oppa?"

"ah, nothing."

"so... shall we go on a date tonight? i heard you finished filming early today."

"uhmm, maybe not today, hyori ah. maybe tomorrow? i'm so sorry, i have to go somewhere." jae suk said and got hyori annoyed again.

"are you avoiding me? where are you going, huh?!" hyori said in a not-so-good tone.

"no, i'm not avoiding you, hyori ah. it's just... something came up."

"are you... cheating on me?!"

"no! why would you think that? that's the second time you asked me that. i just have plans today, okay? don't overthink too much, we can go on a date tomorrow, hyori ah."

"don't make excuses, yoo jae suk! if i find out that you're hanging out with that mika again, i swear, i'll get her myself!" hyori shouted and ended the call, making jae suk just sigh.

mika sits in her room, clicking and pressing on the computer, just like any other day. her mother was away today attending a high school reunion while kwang soo is busy filming for a movie.

luckily, mika wasn't in the vibe to put on her headphones and heard the doorbell ringing.

she walks outside his room and checks at the monitor from the camera outside and sees no one, she's sure that she heard the doorbell earlier.

mika decided to check for herself and walks in the front door, opening it to see no one in front. until...

"hey!!" jae suk pops out from the corner with a bright smile and two plastic bags on his arms.

"oh, what are you doing here?" mika asked. jae suk showed her the plastic bags, "let's eat, it's your favorite!" jae suk referred to almost everyone's favorite, tteokbokki and fried chicken.

they both ate the warm tteokbokki and juicy fried chicken at mika's room with her TV opened. when mika finished her food, she places her small plate at the bedside table and looks at jae suk who was lovingly eating the a chicken drumstick while facing the TV and sitting on the edge of the bed, slightly laughing a little because of the TV jokes.

he looks so adorable.

"can I ask you something?"

"sure, sure."

"what's with the food and coming here at our place? can't you just eat with your girlfriend?"

"oh, this?" jae suk chuckled, "hyori doesn't like foods like this. plus, i wanted to make it up to you." he added.

"make it up to me? w-with what?"

jae suk takes a quick bite on the chicken first before saying, "uhmm, you were right about yesterday. i should not have been very ignorant about my relationships and just apologize and apologize even though it's not my fault. plus, hyori's head really hurts so you were right about that too. i should've listened to you and at least take some of your advice before--"

"i should be the one who's sorry." mika cuts him off, "i shouted at you yesterday, i was too harsh at you. i'm sorry..."

jae suk didn't hesitated to move closer to her and hug her tight. mika was speechless, the hug was warm and irresistible, she wanted to stay like this for a while.

"you know, this is too childish, don't you think?" jae suk spoke and ran his hand through mika's hair.

"w-what's childish?"

"oh you know, fighting of small things. we can just settle things with this!!" jae suk shouted and pinched mika's ear.

"hey, hey, hey, ouch!!" mika shouted and tried to reach jae suk's hair.

"that hurts, oppa!! ouch, ouch, ARGHHHH!! i swear, i will--"

they both got cut off by mika's bedroom door quickly opening, "what the heck are you two doing? bickering again?!" mika's brother, kwang soo heard the noise.

on the other hand, at Y Company, a tall middle aged man with a bunch of guards around him enters the building. fit suit, newly brushed hair, and even the strong reek of perfume had with him as he enters the elevator with his one assistant and some guards who can fit the elevator.

they reached the top floor, with of course the tall middle aged man walking out first and fixing his bowtie before entering a very fancy office, clean and organized.

"mr. yoo, it's great to finally meet you!" the man said to another middle aged man who is this time has a shorter height and slight natural white hair with him.

he shakes the taller man's hand and smiled, "the father of my son's girlfriend, mr. lee. welcome."
