i haven't seen it in a while
since she brought you down

"mother!!" jae suk's voice came running to the apartment entrance as he saw mika and her mother walking outside at around 6 in the morning.

"oh hey!" jung hana waved. jae suk stopped in front of them and looked at mika, who just avoided his look.

"where's kwang soo?" he asked.

"he picked sun bin up. he said they'll meet us at the train station." jung hana replied.

"now he's going all gentleman to his girlfriend, huh?" jae suk teased and laughed with mika's mother.

---

after 3 hours in the train, all of them finally reached mokpo. the weather looked so good today, they went to so much places such as samhak island where they rode canoes and sihwa valley where they can see beautiful murals on the walls of everyone's houses inside the valley and even ate at a famous restaurant which so many dishes have been served.

when the sunset came, the family decided to visit the famous mokpo marine cable car. "wah, the view is so amazing." kwang soo said as he focused on the beautiful sunset as the cable car goes up to the north port.

"it is." sun bin replied moving closer to kwang soo leaning her head on his shoulder.

"look at you two... all lovey dovey." jung hana adored them and looked at mika who was on her phone. she smacked her thigh and said, "ya! take your phone away! we should be enjoying a rest day instead of just using your phone!"

"ugh, i'll take it away later when we reach the top."

"ya, mika." kwang soo warned her with his strict voice. mika rolled her eyes and placed her phone back on her pocket.

they finally reached at yudal mountain cable car which is the north port of the cable car. the view was very amazing, they were right going there at sunset.

the whole place was clean and chilly, wind blowing their hair and even the air was so fresh. busy cars at the road while buildings started to light up.

a few recognized jae suk and kwang soo but they both did their best to have contact with them but still have time for their family.

while some are taking pictures with jae suk and kwang soo, mika decided to go somewhere empty and take a look of the relaxing view. "whoa." mika spoke to herself amazed of the view.

"mika, there's a convenience store here, do you want to eat anything?" her mother called her from a distance pointing at the store.

"ah, i'm okay, mom. i'll just stay here."

"alright, sun bin ah, come with me." jung hana gestured kwang soo's girlfriend to come with her at the store.

mika stared at the view again, it feels like she's sinking in the beauty. it made her relax, she wanted to stay here forever. until...

"beautiful, isn't it?" jae suk asked as he walked towards mika.

"y-yeah." she spoke awkwardly and felt more uncomfortable when jae suk stood beside her.

she looked at jae suk and he was staring at the beautiful view, smiling real wide, "it's so nice."

it's that smile again.

but seeing herself smile at jae suk's smile made her snap back to reality. she shouldn't be smiling. she just looked away and felt more uncomfortable.

it took a while but jae suk finally spoke, "are you alright? you look very uncomfortable." he knew mika. he knows how her face looks when she's uncomfortable.

"ah yeah, i'm fine." mika faked and made sure.

"no, i can see it. you're uncomfortable talking to me now."

mika sighed, "how am i supposed to feel comfortable when you already know how i feel about you?" she asked.

"what if i tell you i feel the same way?"

what?

mika couldn't answer and just felt like it's a lie. no, no, he's just messing with me. is it april fool's day? her thoughts ran like a racecar. i mean, he can be kidding, right?

"what?" she asked, starting to tear up because she knew it's not real.

his hand reached for her cheek and left a small distance between their faces.

no, stop messing with me.

"i like you too."

no, wake me up from this stupid dream please. it's not fun anymore.

jae suk leans closer but mika suddenly remembered the people who took a photo with him earlier, they can be still here right?

a tear falls from her eye and made her automatically move away, "s-sorry." mika said and ran to the convenience store where her family is so that he couldn't approach her about it anymore.

it's not fun. he's just taking advantage.

jae suk's phone started ringing and it was a call from his father's assistant. "hello?"

"hello, jae suk. your father wishes to see you tomorrow here at his office. meet him before he meets you himself."

---

when the night came, the family decided to go visit the famous dancing sea fountain just near the cable car port they went to.

"it's starting!" kwang soo shouted as he heard the famous song from the pier where the dancing fountains will be at.

as the fountains dance and changes colors to the beat, mika still keeps thinking about what jae suk said earlier, slightly tearing up until at this moment.

"i want a closer look, oppa." sun bin told her and dragged him to somewhere closer, "hey, come with us!" kwang soo called them.

"just wait, i'll just take a photo of it." jung hana shouted and took her phone out moving closer to the fountain leaving jae suk and mika standing beside each other.

mika looked at him and wiped her tear away. jae suk then grabbed her hand, intertwining them. the more comfortable mika should feel, the more tears tell down from her eyes, this isn't right.

"are you... are you alright?" jae suk whispered to her.

mika immediately removed herself from his hold when she noticed her mother finishing the photo she's taking.

jung hana turned around and noticed her crying, "why are you crying, mika?"

kwang soo came back to them saying, "come on, guys. we found a greater spot!" he then looked at mika and started worrying, "mika? are you alright? what's wrong?"

"ah, nothing." mika chuckled and wiped her tears. jae suk on the other hand wanted to help her but her family is getting in the way.

"why are you crying?" kwang soo asked. mika immediately looked around for an excuse and saw the dancing fountains.

"ah, the fountains." she faked her laugh, "they're just so pretty, that's all. it made me cry because of how beautiful it is." mika faked her laugh once again, "i'll just go to the bathroom." she said immediately walking away from the scene.

"the fountains? i don't see anything to cry about it." kwang soo fell for mika's fake moves.
