oh, i remember you driving to my house
in the middle of the night

are you asleep? - jae suk

a sudden text got mika's attention while she was trying to get some sleep at around 2 am.

i'm about to. why? - mika

i wanted to talk to you and maybe give you something, i'm outside the apartment. - jae suk

talk? at 2 am? great.

mika got her black hoodie on before walking slowly at the front door, trying to be as quiet as she can so that her mother and brother won't wake up.

and just like what the text said, she saw jae suk waiting with a small paper bag with him. "hey." jae suk greeted first.

"what are you doing here this late?"

"i was about to head home from work and here," jae suk handed her the paper bag. mika took a look and it was tablets of acetaminophen to cure fever and some of mika's favorite convenience store snacks.

"what is..."

"oh, you said you weren't feeling well so... i bought those for you." jae suk smiled at her and mika did the same.

it's just like back in high school.

ugh, i hate my period so much. it keeps me awake and never even let's me sleep for at least a minute.

it's already 46 minutes passed midnight and i'm still awake. if mom comes in my room, i would be dead by now.

even though living in the countryside is an advantage because it's very quiet, my stomach never gives me a break.

but, luckily, i found the greatest spot in the bed ever, one foot outside of the blanket. i mean, i'm sure everyone must be very comfortable with that!

then i slowly close my eyes, not thinking about my stupid stomach...

andddddd-- nevermind.

i heard a hit sound on my bedroom window. it's like someone just hit something on it.

at first, i didn't really care and just went to close my eyes again, but then again, another hit sound caught my attention.

but no matter how much i ignore it, it's still going.

until i decided to finally stand up and check the window. it was jae suk oppa throwing rocks at the door.

i let out a gasp and slide the window up and whisper a bit loud, "what are you--"

"wait for me there!" oppa shouted back and suddenly started climbing to my room window. he got through my window and let out a quiet laugh.

"what are you doing here, oppa?" i asked, still surprised of his ways.

"here," i noticed him grabbing something on his pocket and it was a small paper bag from the pharmacy. i took a look at it and it was painkillers specifically for female menstruation.

"i really wanted to taste that new ice cream flavor with you earlier."

"but you did had a taste, right? with kwang soo oppa." i reminded him of what he and kwang soo oppa did earlier after school.
