the night continues, it's already nearly 3 am and the family are still busy drinking. mika was indeed passed out while jae suk just ate a lot of samgyupsal, trying all different types.

jung hana managed to endure the strong alcohol but her son ended up losing their little competition.

"i think we should go home now." jae suk suggested and looked at hana who just agreed with him.

"noooo! we can't go home! i haven't seen the baby shark yet!" mika who was indeed drunk, shouted at them, "baby shark, do do do do do do~ baby shark do do do do do do~ baby shark do do do do do do, baby shark!" mika started singing and even danced the signature move as her arms turn into paper because of how light it was.

"aish, there she goes again." her mother got irritated, proving how much she hears the song when she drinks with mika.

it's like mika's most common drinking habit, even jae suk knows about it. she always sing children's songs but commonly "baby shark" and sometimes just randomly shout co--

"COCOMELON~!"

yeah, that. she even mimics the melody after that.

jae suk just sighed before grabbing mika and carefully helping her stand up while jung hana did the same to kwang soo.

after a while of carrying them home, hana immediately places kwang soo on the sofa, stretching the aching muscle, "aish, he's so heavy." she then looked at jae suk giving mika a piggyback as she sings (guess the song).

"go bring her to her room, jae suk ah." hana said pointing at mika's room.

jae suk walked to mika's room opening the door to see so much mess all around, "aigoo, she doesn't even have time to clean all of this."

as he was about to place mika down on the bed, mika gripped on jae suk's hair and pulled it so hard, "wieee!!~" mika shouted.

"ow ow ow ow, mika! stop it, stop it!"

and again, she sings (guess one more time)

when jae suk (finally) placed her on the bed, he immediately stretched and said, "i feel bald now."

before he could even leave the room, mika called him, "oppa."

"why?" he looked back at her.

"you should get your glasses fixed." the sudden sentence got jae suk confused, "what do you mean? why would i do that?"

finally.

"because you can't see how much i like you."

the atmosphere suddenly got quiet, probably because of how shocked and confused jae suk is. if this was a kdrama, the dramatic song would start right at this moment.

"what did you say?"

mika laughed, still drunk, "i'm here all along, oppa."

jae suk just chuckled and moved closer to her, leaving a small distance between them. he looks at mika's eyes, "tell me it's a prank."

"why would i be pranking you?" mika gave him a weak smile.

"you're just drunk."

"no, i'm serious. you're just so dumb." mika laughed.

"if you're not lying, then kiss me." jae suk suddenly spoke. he just wanted to test if she was pranking him. because if she was pranking, he knows she would immediately say no to his request.

but things went the other way.

mika quickly sat up the bed and pulled him pressing her lips onto his. it was such a new feeling, soft lips pressing each other while jae suk's eyes went wide.

he's kissing his best friend.

jae suk suddenly got back to reality and just pushed her away. "you're just drunk, mika. go get some sleep." jae suk tried not to panic by turning back but mika gripped on his arm, closing her very tired eyes, "i... i don't want to see you be with h-hyori. my eyes get tired when... you two are together."
