Zutara: When Chemicals React (Avatar the last air bender fan fiction)

Zuko-Part 7

We were all on our way back to camp, the sun had just gone down. I could feel myself getting weaker.

"Are you ok?" Katara asked and held my hand.

"I'm fine. Its nothing to fuss over." I could feel Sokka glaring at us, he doesn't like that I'm with his sister, maybe I should try and talk to him to clear things up. I want her family to like me, even her brother, no matter how annoying or high strung he is.

All of a sudden there was a bang in the woods.

"We should check it out," Aang said. So we all ran toward the direction of the explosion...

"Inuyasha, stop it!" we heard someone say.

"Come on Kagome, he was taunting me, he was asking for it!" a male said. When we got to the area we saw there were two men, two women, and. kid fox thing hiding behind a rock.

"But you scared Shippo Inuyasha!" the girl named Kagome said.

"Whatever, he can handle it," the one called inuyasha said.

"Sit boy!" Kagome yelled and Inuyasha smashed to the ground. They all seemed different, the girl Kagome had on strange clothes, a white shirt and green skirt that could somehow resemble some sort of uniform...I wonder if I could ever get Katara to wear that...the one called Inuyasha had long silver hair, a red kimono, a huge sword and....dog ears? The kid fox thing, Shippo? Was hiding behind the rock still and the other woman had the clothes of a warrior and a huge boomerang hung on her back. The other man was almost dressed like a monk, he had his hair pulled back and an odd staff.

"Sango, please calm Kagome down while I take care of Shippo." the monk said to the girl with the boomerang.

"Ok Miroku."

"Who are you?" Katara finally asked what we were all thinking.

"Who wants to know!" Inuyasha popped up.

"Well I'm Aang," Aang introduced himself first. "And this is Katara, Zuko, Suki, Sokka, Toph, Appa, and Momo."

"Are you ok? We heard an explosion?" Sokka said.

"Oh this...wind scar!" inuyasha said as he took his sword and as he waved it a huge yellow like lightning came out of it.

"Wow..." Sokka said

"Well name's Inuyasha, a powerful half demon," he started. "And that's Kagome, Sango, Miroku, Shippo, and Kirara," he pointed to a cat like creature with two tails.

"Awww she's so cute," Katara said and then Kirara approached to have Katara pet her.

"Well, what are you guys doing here?" Toph asked.

"We're travelers," Miroku answered. "And you?"

"Travelers." Aang and Toph said at the same time.

"Well what are you looking for?" Suki asked.

"Oh you would want to know that," Miroku said suddenly in front of her. "You are a beauty." he said softly rubbing her hand and started to make movements to touch her.

"Hey! Get off my Suki!!!" Sokka yelled as Suki slapped Miroku.

"I'm sorry I didn't realize you were already spoken for," Miroku said as he rubbed his cheek.

"You lecherous monk, you're really gonna womanize right in front of me," Sango said as she hit him with her boomerang.

"It's not what you think Sango, haha I was just being friendly," he said in defense. She growled and turned away from him.

"Come on Zuko," Sokka said to me. "While they're having there fun let's talk," he pulled me off to the side. "Look, you and Katara are together and to be honest, I don't like it....hey get awaaay from Suki! We'll talk later..." he said then ran back. "I told you to stay away!"

"Sorry, I just couldn't help myself, she's so beautiful," Miroku said sheepishly.

Sokka then looked towsrds Toph, "Toph could you please?...you know?"

"Sure thing Sokka." she said then earthbended a cage around the monk but lefy a hole so we could see his face.

"Ahhh what is this, its made completely out of rock, what magic is this?!" Miroku screamed.

"I think it fits you Miroku," Sango said smugly.

"Its not magic, its bending." Toph said.

"What's bending?" Kagome asked.

"Uh...well it's...I don't know how to explain it but its the bending of the four elements, water, earth, fire, and air," Aang tried to explain. "As you just saw earth, this is...water...fire...and air," he said as he demonstrated each.

"That's so cool," Kagome's eyes lit up. "Can either of them do any of that?"

"Well as you saw Toph is an earthbender, Katara's a waterbender, and Zuko's a firbender, and I originally, an airbender."

"Originally?"

"Well yes, but I had to learn the other elements because I'm the Avatar."

"Woohoo, go team Avatar!!" Sokka interjected. Everyone was quiet looking at Sokka awkwardly until Inuyasha decided to speak breaking the attention from Sokka.

"Avatar? What's that?" inuyasha asked as he crossed his arms. Aang went through the process of being and becoming the Avatar, the four elements, and crossing back and forth between this world and the spirit world.

I then noticed Katara walking towards me. "Why are you over here all by yourself?" she asked as she placed her hand on my shoulder.

"No reason..." I said placing my hand over hers. "Come take a walk with me," I said taking hold of her hand.
