I knew today was the day to go and visit King Bumi. But I was so relaxed and comfortable in this nice cozy bed I didn't want to wake up. I felt someone start to shake me and call my name. Trying to make me get up. But all I did was groan in response and turn over away from them not wanting to be bothered. I started to smile as I went back to dream land.
Suki and I ruled the universe and everyone adored me. How could they not? We were sitting on the clouds as we were enjoying a magnificent feast, or at least I was mostly. As I hate all my favorite foods a flying pixie came and put a crown on my head and called me the best their ever was. I grinned widely. Until a baby moose lion started to talk and speak my name. No way. Baby moose lions can't talk.
"SOKKA!" Aang's voice yelled.
"AHHH!" I yelled from being started and fell out of the bed. "Ow..." I said rubbing my head and opened my eyes to look at Aang. I could feel how tired I was all over my face and the bags under my eyes.
"Come on, we have to get going."
"Can't we just go tomorrow?" I asked rubbing my eyes.
"No, Sokka. He's expecting us today."
"Ughhhh..."
"That's what you get for staying up eating all those sweets," Aang smiled feeling satisfied with the look of I-told-you-so.
"Well it was worth it." I then saw Suki poke her cute little head through our door. She smiled at me and walked over to help me off the ground.
"Well I see you're finally up," she said smiling.
"Yeah...thanks to Aang."
"Don't blame me that you didn't get enough sleep," Aang said as he looked outside the room down the hallways.
"Even when he does get enough sleep he's as stubborn as an ox. I bet the place on fire wouldn't wake him up."
"That's not true, Suki!"
"Oh really?" she teased.
"My warrior instincts would kick in!" I said as I did my fighting stance and pulled out my boomerang.
"If you mean instincts of running, crying, and screaming like a girl. Then yeah those sure are some crazy warrior instincts..." Toph said sarcastically as she walked in the room.
"Hey!" I yelled at her. Suki laughed and giggled.
"Let's get going if we wanna make good time," Toph spoke. "Katara and Zuko are already waiting."
At just the mention of Katara and Zuko the vibe of the room suddenly changed, by no one other than Aang. His face became dark and angry and he just walked out the room, ready to leave and visit his old friend. Toph could sense that she made a mistake as her face saddened and looked a bit offended. I'm sure she didn't think just mentioning them would make Aang so upset, heck, we all didn't think so, but apparently it did. We all then followed soon after. We then met with Katara and Zuko who were waiting outside of the Inn. I couldn't believe that Zuko finally had a lead on where his mother was and she was at least alive and well. I'm happy for him...only if that were the case for our mom. Last time we saw her or really the last time Katara did she was being put into a corner in out home by a fire nation general.
