Hanyu and I had made it to Ba sing se, I had gotten word that my precious mother had apparently survived. I was for sure that after her exile she was killed or just ended up dying from going on too long without her precious Zu Zu. I figured I would pay her a little visit and use her for what she's worth. She would be the perfect distraction for Zuko to where he will give up the throne and then I would kill them both.

"Why exactly are we here again?" Hanyu asked. He followed closely behind me as he scanned the area.

"To pay a visit to someone who will be quite useful in our plan, my friend," I told him.

"And you say this person will help make your brother give up the throne more easily?"

"Yes. I'm quite sure of it. He as and undeniable care for this person. He cares for her more than his own life.

"And then after this we will go find your old recruits, Mai, and Tai Lee?"

     "Precisely."

We walked along the dirt road streets passed the market and through some street urchin performing pitiless talents to try and make a quick coin. I stopped at a man selling cabbages. He looked up at me dumbstruck as I pulled out a picture of my mother.

"Have you seen this woman anywhere around here?"

"Hmmm," he said as he peered at the photo a bit longer. "She looks familiar but I'm not quite sure. There are many woman here with features like that."

I moved along from him as I asked a few more people and then I stopped at small faction where and elderly woman made and sold jewelry. When I approached her small establishment, she greeted me as any salesperson would, ready to make her pitch. But before she spoke I held up my hand to stop her.

"I am not interested in your jewelry," I said. "Little trinkets like this do not interest me...things like this is not becoming of royalty."

Her face was stunned as her jaw hung open with her eyes wide. "Well then what can help you with?"

I once again took out the picture of my mother and held it out to her. "Do you know where I can find this woman?"  As the old woman observed the photograph I noticed a small, young girl, in a horribly tailored deep pink dress, working off to the side making a bracelet. She had turned her head slightly to get a glimpse of a picture and turned back to do her job. Silly girls, always so nosey and all, but then I can understand why anyone would be curious when I come around.

I was becoming impatient with the old woman, "Have you seen her or not old woman?! I don't have all day."

She squinted her old eyes and finally answered, "Actually I have seen her before, she has come here quite a few times...Ursa is her name I think..."

My eyes widened, "Do you know where I can find her?"

"Ummmm..." As the old woman was thinking I noticed the young girl hurry and slip out the side...and I found that very suspicious.

"Hold it!" I yelled to her, and as she heard me she started to run back down the way we had came. I knew she knew something.

I started to run after her and Hanyu followed. She ran quite briskly on the dirt road as the streets slowly started to fill with more people. I scowled and felt my eyebrows pull together in aggravation. I roughly pushed passed people and firebended them out of the way.

"Move! You're in my way!" I yelled. As I was running after the girl, just after she passed it, a small wooden cart was being pulled in front of me, so I shot a large blue fireball at it to destroy it and clear my path. Some how or another the brightly lit wooden cart had spread fire over to that man's cabbage cart from earlier.

     "My cabbages!!!!" he yelled hysterically.

I kept my sights on the girl as she turned a corner so I  continuously blasted through a street load full of booths and carts to create a shorter distance between me and the girl, to get to her quicker. When I set sights on her again I jumped up and used my firebending like jet packs with my arms stretched out behind me and then quickly blasted a few small establishments with my feet, which caught her off guard and caused her to tumble onto the ground and roll into a nearby house.

I landed in front of the girl who was coughing from the smoke and laying on her side as Hanyu had just turned on the street, running, to catch up with me. I took a rough hold of the girl by her collar and stared her fiercely in the eye.

     "Where is she?!" I yelled.

The girl struggled at my grasp, "I'm not telling you anything!"

"Tell me now!" I yelled, and then I smiled devilishly and lifted my free hand and lit it with my beautiful and deadly blue fire. "You might want to girl, your life depends on it."

"Azula..." I heard a voice, and very annoyingly soft and familiar voice.

I looked over to see the long lost mother that I hated, walk out the home the young girl stumbled into. I scowled at the sight of her. She never admitted it but I knew she loved Zuko more than me, she paid more attention to him because he was the slow, hopeless, and weak one growing up. I also knew she hated me by the way she treated me, she never listened to anything I had to say. She always took Zuko's side.

"Ms. Ursa.." the girl said sadly as she still struggled in my grasp.

Age was definitely starting to catch up with her. She still had a good amount of youth in her face, with the exception of the wrinkles around her eyes and the gray hair emerging at her sides. I stood up straight and unlit my hand as I dropped the girl.

"Well," I said lightly and half heartedly. "If isn't nice to see you again."

"Don't hurt the girl, Azula. She is a sweet girl with her life ahead of her," mother said. There she went again, caring so deeply for other. She needs to be more worried about herself...no wonder why she had such a little hand in ruling the fire nation when my father ruled with an iron fist.

"Well it's a good thing you got out here when you did because I was just about to," I smiled. Mother stood there, with that same look of disappointment and shame I remembered. No smile, Just pure disappointment and judgment. "No smile to greet me? You always smiled when greeting someone."

"I am on the inside...but its just so sad to see you like this it just won't come through. It hurts me seeing you this way...you haven't changed one bit, Azula."

I frowned, "You should be more worried about yourself than me! You are one who's life is in danger."

     "Ms. Ursa..?" the girl spoke.

"Quiet you!" I barked at her.

"Go, Sen, you don't need to be here any longer," mother spoke.

     "But-"

     "Now, Sen."

"You better listen girl, " I started. "The longer you stay here the quicker your life comes to an end." The girl looked at my mother one last time and ran off in the opposite direction.

"What is it that you want, Azula?" mother asked me.

"You." I took a rough hold of her arm and pulled her along. "You will finally be of great use to me unlike you have been before."

"I will come freely, Azula, no need to be so rough."

"You will not tell me how to run things! You are my prisoner! You will only answer or speak when I ask you a direct question!"

I pulled her along as Hanyu followed, back to the shores of Ba Sing Se, to get to the fire nation ship that we gladly "borrowed" from a few soldiers just going on without a care in the world. I finally had the necessary accessory I needed to get to Zuko. Oh how glad I'm sure they'll both be to see each other again on their death day. This would be the perfect plot to get everything I wanted with such little effort. Zuko will be at my fingertips with my beck and call when he sees the one person he loved and cares for more than anything in harms way. Now all that was needed was my dear friends, Mai, and Tai Lee. I hope for their sake that they come willingly or I will gladly make them come by force.
