We had been walking for about five minues ans neither one of us said a word. "So what did you want to talk about?" I asked breaking the silence. I turned my head to look at him, and I could see he was lost in thought. So I nudged him.

"Oh, yeah..." he said startled.

"Are you ok?"

"Yeah I'm fine.....do you still have feelings for Aang?"

"...Why?"

"I just want to know..."

"Maybe a little. ..but they are slowly going away...keep in mind Zuko feelings dont just disappear over night..."

"Hmph. What could he have really offered you anyway...?" it was almost as if he said that to himself out loud.

"Well, I mean he cared and wanted to make me happy..."

"That's it?..." he said I could tell he started to tense up.

"Well what's wrong with that?" I asked.

"There's a lot wrong with that, you've always deserved better and more than that, I can and will offer you much more," he said seriously. "I will give you love, happiness, life without suffer or any pain. I'll make sure your smiling everyday, I understand what you've been through," he said as he sat against a tree.

"I do love you Zuko, you have no reason to mistake that, and nothing or no one will come between us." I had no idea where all this was coming from, but I could see he had doubts. So I wanted him to know that he would never have to doubt me or my feelings for him.

"I love you too, I love you so much it hurts...." he confessed. I smiled at him. "I'm glad we're here together."

"Me too, its nice to have some alone time," I said as I sat next to him and laid my head on his chest.

"I just hope your people, your brother and the rest of your family will accept us."

"I agree, I don't want us to have to hide it and I don't want you treated unfairly."

"But we may only have to worry about Sokka, your people are very kind and accepting, from what I understand." he said as he sighed. "Unlike my people where all they think about is power," he said thoughtfully. I could tell he was reminiscing on past event dealing with his father, Azula, and the fire nation itself. "And whatever else benefits them."

"Well even if my people still don't accept us I don't care I'll be with you. I'll never leave you," I stood in irritation.

He pulled me back down, "Calm down," he said with a laugh and wrapped his arms around me. "I love that you're willing to fight for us, but keep in mind that is your family, either way I'm sure everything will be fine," he said smiling. I hugged him and then looked up in his eyes as he stared back into mine. "There's something we haven't done yet," he said with a sly smirk.

"What?" That honestly felt like a stupid question...I knew exactly what he was talking about.

"Come here..." he said softly while grabbing my chin and pulled me forward, sharing a long passionate kiss. It felt like a thousand fireworks, I felt like I could be floating...this kiss was so intimate. There was a constant fire that continued to build....kissing him....and being with him....I felt so complete. As soon as our lips parted the fire was gone....a fire that I just wanted more of.

"Katara??" When I looked over I saw it was Aang, who looked angry. "You know what I don't care, Katara belongs with me!!" he screamed. "You're not right for her! I will not lose her to you!" Then suddenly Aang airbended a strong gust of wind at Zuko knocking him down.

"Oh ok, so you want to fight over her do you?" Zuko said as he stood up and brushed of some dirt. "It'll be my pleasure to show you who deserves her and when I win, leave us alone." Zuko said with anger.

"Zuko..." I started.

"No, don't Katara, stay out of this, he wants to fight, fine. He need to learn his place." Then as Zuko started aiming fireballs at Aang, Aang jumped over them and headed towards Zuko and earthbended him up off the ground and crushed him back down. Zuko quickly jumped back up and quickly started throwing more fire at Aang, and one of the fireballs hit and burned his arm.

"Lucky shot," Aang said smugly. I didn't want them fighting over me. This was wrong.

"Obviously she is with me because she doesn't want and could care less about you!"

Aang screamed in anger and blasted water and earth constantly. Zuko dodged all of it. Zuko took in two deep breaths and blew a gust of fire out his mouth towards Aang. Aang created a ball of air to protect himself and combined the air with the fire and shot it back at Zuko. Zuko quickly created a ring of fire around him to protect himself. Then he took all the fire that was circling around him and threw it at Aang. Aang quickly pulled out his glider and went soaring into the air to avoid it.

Zuko started throwing fireballs at him, "Too afraid to face me head on, so you stay off the ground?" Zuko taunted as Aang landed after. Then Aang made a tornado of air, water, and earth and flung it at Zuko. Zuko dodged most of it except the water. He was soak and wet  now. I couldn't stand watching this anymore, I hate this. So I had decided to stop them with something I swore I'd never use again ...blood bending. I close my eyes and took in a deep breath. I had to concentrate to get hold of them.

"Hey, I cant move.." Zuko said.

"Neither can I...Katara stop...why are you blood bending?" Aang said.

"Blood bending? My uncle told me about that. Stop, we need to settle this!" Zuko yelled.

"No I wont, not until you stop fighting over me, I wont have this happening," I told them.

"Forget it, I'm not losing to him so he can think he deserves you!" Zuko said.

"And you belong with me!" Aang said. I pushed them face first on the ground as they started yelling, but it came out muffled because they had dirt in their faces and mouths. I found myself chuckling a bit at the sight. If there's one thing they have in common is that they both could be stubborn.
