I smiled to Katara as she left, I was so happy, I told her how I felt and she felt the same about me.

"Zuko..." Aang said. "Don't think you've won the girl, I won't give up, I'll get her back." Aang had anger, determination, and revenge written all over his face.

"Fine, let the best man win, and I wont play nice."

"I wasn't expecting you to....but I know Katara loves me."

"Well that's not what I heard, compared to what she just said. Think about it, what can you offer her, her and I have a lot in common, for example I know how she felt when her mom was taken away. You never had parents, or a mother, you had monks raise you, which is not the same as actually having parents."

"I could offer her love and happiness."

"that's it, what about equality? Consideration? Passion? Well I can offer her love, happiness, understanding, and I'd do whatever it takes to take all her suffering away, to make sure she doesn't feel a bad emotion ever again. I'd do whatever it takes to see her happy, to see her smiling everyday, and everyday I'd tell her I love her."

"And you don't think I would do the same!"

"Well, it sure didn't look like it, you weren't paying any attention to her at all, I could always tell she was unsure about your relationship, and it was almost like you were together then you weren't and you didn't decide to do any of that til you saw that I might've gotten in your way. So I would've thought otherwise."

I could tell I made my point, his expression changed and knew I was right.

"Ok, you're right, i'll leave it alone," Aang said and walked back in his tent. Now what I have to worry about is if Sokka and her family would except us being together. I walked back into the tent, where I found Katara in deep thought. As soon as she looked up, she smiled at me, it made me happy that her seeing me made her smile.

"Hey," I said sitting next to her.

"I'm happy you told me how you felt," she said and laid her head on my chest, it was a nice and comforting feeling, he laying and feeling this comfortable with me. I laid my head in hers.

"I'll be good for you Katara," I said. "I know I will, I know I can make you happy."

"I know you will," she said and kissed me on the cheek, I could help but blush and kissed her back, on the cheek.

"You look tired."

"I am a little, it's been a long day."

"Well go on and get some rest."

"Alright, you too ok?" She said as she laid down. It's nice to see that this whole time she never stopped smiling.

I leaned down to her ear, "I love you Katara," I whispered.

"I love you too," she said with a chuckle. I could see her blushing. This day will definitely go at the top of the list, of the best days of my life. The day I finally told the girl I loved how I felt, her feeling the same way, and now I have her. Great things are meant the wait.
