Zutara: When Chemicals React (Avatar the last air bender fan fiction)

Aang -Part 19

    Like the cobra Azula was she attacked instantly and launched blue fireball at both me and Zuko. They were filled with such a large amount of charge that the others behind us even had to move out the way.

     "I'm gonna go try and find Zuko's uncle." I heard Sokka say from behind.

     "Oh I'm glad your willing to actually put up a fight brother," Azula said. "Not trying to make it so easy I see."

     Zuko charged forward, firebending at her with all his might as I airbended myself in the air, and over to the right to get on the side of her. She swung her leg as she launched a large strand of blue fire at Zuko and he slowed his run to slide under the attack and then quickly restarted his run. Azula then immediately firebended at me as I was coming toward her, creating a swirl of fire in my hands. I fired to stop her attack. Zuko got close enough, throwing punches and kicks at her as fire blew from his hands and feet.

     Azula had always known how to handle herself. She blocked each of his attacks, and then tried to sneak a blast of fire to his chest but he dodged it by bending himself backward as he lifted his leg and kicked her in the head which made her stumble. I then saw an opportunity  to blow a gust of air her which formed in a tornado. She recovered quickly from it and turned her attention back to Zuko who was about to strike her again. I looked around the throne room and looked through one of the large windows, and saw there was a large pond or small lake of water outside in the courtyard.

     I took a deep breath and waterbended all the water, crashing it through the windows in the throne room, covering Azula and freezing her the large amount of water. For a moment I thought we could relax until I saw that Azula hands and feet were starting to melt. She then busted from her temporary icy prison sending shards of ice in every direction that Zuko and I had to quickly avoid or we really would have been done for.

     "Ha!" Azula laughed. "You really think I'll let that stop me again. stop me again. You're the Avatar aren't you? I expected so much more from you."

     "You'll get what you deserve, Azula!" I said.

     "Oh will I? I sure hope so. The throne is what I deserve. So glad you agree."

     Then Zuko and I both took her on in comat while bending at the same time. She blocked some hits and blasts but she also took some. And the scars and scratches on her face showed. She blasted me away to get a pair of hands off her back. She turned all of her attention towards Zuko since he was who she was really after.

     She blasted towards him to stagger him and then gave two hard punches to the chest. He moaned in agony for a moment and then she jumped and spun, giving him a whirling kick to the face and sent him flying across the room. He crashed through a window on the other side of the throne room, sending him outside. She didn't hesitate to follow him outside, as if I wasn't even there.

     I ran across the room to hurry outside the window. By the time I got outside. Zuko was already at his feet and Azula was walking towards him. I hurried to his side for support.

     "Any ideas?" I asked him.

     "No, not a clue."
