Katara- Part 5

When I woke up I felt Zuko's arm around me, I felt so safe in his arms. I felt him moving around so he was awake. I turned to look at him and saw he had his shirt off, and I immediately started to blush.

"Zuko!" I said.

"What?"

"Could you put your shirt on please..."

He put his hands on my shoulders. "Awww, don't feel uncomfortable."

"I'm not..it's just surprising that's all."

" Your so cute when your embarrassed, you are younger than me aren't you."

"Just by two years."

He turned me around and hugged me, I knew my face was red now, but I have to admit it was nice seeing him with his shirt off. I stared laughing and hugged him back.

"Ok Katara, I just thought you'd like to see me with with my shirt off," he said laughing.

"Oh...i do, I do..it's a nice view..it's just Aang never...."

"I'm not Aang, plus he's a little too immature for you."

"Your not, and he is, and you sure have a lot of muscle definition." I couldn't believe I just told him that.

He smiled, "I'm glad you love all of me then."

"Oh, remember we're all going swimming later, so will I see more of this?" I said as I poked his chest.

"If you want it you can have it."

I started to laugh and blush again , I've never blushed so much before...even with Aang. I never realized how much of an effect Zuko had on me.

"Well are you ready to get up?" he asked.

"To be honest, I kind of wanted to stay I'm here with you for a little while longer and spend time together."

"I was hoping you'd say something like that," he said smiling and blushed. I blushed too, I've got to stop blushing so much, but I can't help it. We stayed there laughing, talking, and enjoying each others company. About an hour later we decided to get up and join everyone else.

"Hey," Toph said. "You guys hungry?'

"Yeah, definitely," Zuko said.

"Yeah come eat something guys before I eat it all," Sokka said. Everyone was acting Iike nothing had happened last night. We had gotten something to eat while Zuko sat next to me, and Aang sat across from us, it felt a little awkward still. The whole time Zuko kept whispering in my ear and making me laugh and blush as hard as ever. Sokka was giving strange looks then he looked over and his face lit up with happiness.

"Suki!" he yelled ecstatically as he ran to give her a hug and kiss her on the cheek.

"Hi Sokka," she said laughing

"I missed you so much," he said hugging her tighter. "How've you been? I know you had to leave to take care of you're dad, how is he?"

"He passed away about two months ago," she said softly.

"...I'm sorry..." Sokka said feeling her pain, we don't know what we'd do if we lost our dad. "Well, how are the kioshi warriors?"

"Well, Kanna is married, and has a child now, Sue is taking care of her niece and nephew, and Tai Lee is having fun, enjoying her new life and boyfriend," she laughed.

"Oh, hey Suki!" Toph yelled.

"Oh right, where are my manners, hey Toph, Aang, Zuko, Katara."

"AGGGGHHHH," Appa roared.

"Hi Appa, oh and you too Momo."

"Suki tou came just in time, we were all about to go swimming at the nearby beach," Sokka said. It's so nice to see my bother this happy.

"Ok, sounds fun."

"Well what are we waiting for let's go," Aang said. I really hope I didn't hurt Aang too much even though he sounds and looks happy, there's a touch of sadness in his eyes, I do know Aang better than that.

We all got to the beach already in our swim suits. "Hey, Suki, look what I did!" Sokka yelled. He tried to make her face out of sand. . .again, and it still looked like some sort of blob monster.

"Really Sokka,?' Aang said.

"I can feel it's just as bad as last time..." Toph said.

"Well, I don't card what you guys think, you like it right Suki?" Sokka said smiling with hope.

"It's sweet Sokka of course, it's the thought that counts."

"See," Sokka smiled huge.

"But..maybe you should work on your skills some," she said with a smirk as Sokka eyes had already gotten hysterically wide.

"AWWWW Suki..." Sokka whined.

"I'm just being honest."

"And that's another reason why I love you," he said hugging her.

"Well, I'm going surfing," I said.

"How you don't have a board?" Sokka asked. Dumb question Sokka.

"Hello, waterbender, remember, I can freeze the water."

"Oh right, you and your little magic." I just ignored him Sokka can be such an idiot sometimes. I went up to the water and froze a decent sized portion of it into a surf bored. Then I unfroze it.

"Uh, Katara, why'd you do that?" Sokka asked.

"Just sort of remembered that I didn't need to do that." I jumped on the water and waterbended on the wave. It was a complete rush.

"Woohoo, go sis, your water surfing!" Sokka yelled. I came out of the water wringing my hair out.

"You're amazing," Zuko said and kissed me on the cheek.

"Hmmm," Sokka grumbled to himself. I can tell he doesn't like the idea of us together, but I don't care what he thinks.

"Awww thanks Zuko, that's so sweet," I said holding his hand.

"It's true," he said and gave me a hug. I heard Sokka mumble, what sounded like a smart remark under his breath.

"What did you say?!" I yelled to Sokka.

"Nothing...nothing at all."
