TW: Sexual harassment, my apologies in advance.

"You sure you wanna go to this?" My best friend asked from the other room.

"Yes, bsf/n, I'm sure. I've been wanting to be a party person my whole high school career. We literally graduated last week and now I finally get the chance to go to an actual high school party like in the movies," I responded while shuffling through the clothes in my closet.

"Okay, if you say so," she sighed.

She always said she wanted to keep me from this type of exposure for as long as she could but I wouldn't let her hide this part of me any longer.

I'd been to one party before and really, it wasn't that great - quite boring actually. This was my chance to finally let loose a little and explore the side of me which I always buried deep, deep down inside.

After raiding my closet for three hours I finally found something to wear that spoke to my enthusiasm - straight-leg light-wash jeans, a cream-coloured short-sleeve button-up cotton shirt, and black high top converse.

I paired the outfit with a small, simple, silver chain and a ruby pendant my grandmother had gifted me for graduating, along with various rings on almost every finger

I didn't put effort into my outfits too often, so having an occasion to do so really lifted my spirits.

Since bsf/n had pretty much lived her whole life partying she agreed to be the driver and promised to stay sober so that I could do whatever I wanted for the night.

We'd been there for around an hour before I finally started to get a bit tipsy - without a care - when I thought I saw someone familiar out of the corner of my eye. Let me rephrase that, in a class of only sixty-eight people everyone is familiar, what I meant was someone I didn't ever expect to see at a party.

Once I saw him I made my way towards bsf/n.

"Bsf/n!" I shouted as I was still a few feet anyway.

"Yea?" She answered making her way to join me.

"Is it my mind leaving me or did I just see c/n?" I said tripping over someone's foot.

"Uh," she chuckled at my clumsiness. "Yea, I think I saw him walk in the door like fifteen minutes ago, or something,"

"Huh. Never thought I'd see c/f/l/n out of his house much less at a party." I chuckled remembering how I used to think he just didn't exist outside of the school.

Being somewhat intoxicated and self-confident, I went to find him again after he'd disappeared from my sight.

I spent about a half-hour wandering around, searching for him but somehow he'd totally just disappeared.

"Hey, fancy seeing you here," Jack came up behind me.
