You've been sick for the past two days. Bedridden. Your mom not barely letting you out of you room.
Your best friend (whom you secretly had feelings for though you tried not to admit it to yourself), y/c, had been the best friend like he always is cracking jokes and just genuinely making you smile with his conversations, was trying to help you feel better for those past few days.
Currently, you two had been texting for the past hour and a half. He felt so bad for you being sick. You told him you'd hang in an instant if you weren't sick.
Suddenly he said he'd text you later and that he had to go and do something for his mom.
20 minutes went by. Again, you were bored out of your mind. However, you were totally oblivious to what was going down on the other side of the house.
"She's sick," your mom said as she opened the front door.
"I know," he said with a guilty smile. She smiled and stepped aside to let him, shutting the door behind him. She'd told you plenty of times she'd always approved of him. He was so genuine and pure.
He goes straight to your room and knocks on the door.
"Yea," you mumble. He opens the door with the cutest smile streaking across his face. "Y/c... what are you doing here? I'm sick," you say with an annoyed smile on your face as you shove your head under your covers.
"That's why I'm here, silly," he chuckles lightly as he sits on the edge of your bed.
When he arrived it was around 7pm. Throughout the next few hours his presence makes you feel better. Around 11pm you became exhausted as you sat beside him scrolling through snapchat filters. He began to feel yourself fall into him. You wanted to stop yourself. You didn't wanna take it too far and screw up your whole friendship. But, your sleep deprivation overtook you. The last thing you felt was his lips against your forehead and a faint "I love you, y/n," escape his lips.
