"I'll drive you home"

a/n: this one is kinda based off reality and remotely based on a night i had with my two friends several weeks ago :)

I was at my friends house when c/n just randomly showed up.

He does that. You see, he and y/f are like, close close, best friends. So, he pops in whenever he wants.

But y/f has a boyfriend and c/n is respectful of that even though he's obviously still in love with her.

It's rough liking someone who's already in love with someone else, but I feel bad for him because y/f is dating someone else at the same time as lowkey feeling bad for myself.

Anyway, I met c/n around the same time I met y/f, about 3 years ago, and we've all been friends since then.

But since I'd started liking c/n, I started trying to get to know him better and on a different level. I think it's been working but he's sometimes hard to read.

Anyway, when I saw him walk around the corner into the backyard my eyes and face lit up. He just has this glow about him that always seems to brighten up anything and everything.

He smiled and waved at me. "Hi y/n!" He said happily as he waved.

I waved back with a wide smile on my face. "Hey!" I replied back happily.

He hopped up to lay on the trampoline with me while y/f went inside to get some water.

"So, how've you been?" He asked.

"Good, good," I smiled. "You?"

"Oh, I'm good," he replied.

"Good," I smiled.

The hours went by and before we all knew it, it was just about midnight.

"Oh shoot, my parents were expecting me home like an hour ago," I said as I checked the time on my phone. Y/f had picked me up at my house so she'd have to take me home as well.

"Oh, and you didn't bring your car right, 'cause I picked you up, ok. Let's go then," she said with a smile on her face, happy to do so.

"I'll drive you home," c/n said.

"Really?" I asked.

"Yea, I should probably get home anyway and you're house is on the way to mine," he said kindly.

"Thank you c/n, that's be really helpful.

"Of course," he said pulling his keys out of his pocket "let's go then,"

It was pretty much a quiet drive. Maybe because it was short?

"Hey, thank you for taking me home," I said as I unbuckled my seatbelt.

"Yea, yea, no problem," he smiled putting the car in park so I could get out.

"See you later," I smiled as I opened the door and started to get out.

"Hey, y/n?" He said in question before I could get as far as setting both feet out of the car.

"Yea?" I answered and turned to look at him and as I did so I was met with his lips on mine and his hands caressing my jawline.

It was a sweet but passionate kiss.

"Goodnight y/n," he said once releasing my lips from his.

I smiled dorkishly and blushed "night c/n," I said before getting out of the car and heading to my room only to fall back on my bed in pure excitement.

a/n: god i suck at endings i'm so sorry. but anyways, this is just a really short one that i've finally had the motivation to finish i started fighting it like the beginning of the month but never got around to finishing it but i hope you liked it.
