Ailiyah ran gasping knowing that the creature was right behind her.
"Derek!!!," she screamed desperatly wishing and hoping that he would be there to help her. But knowing that it was no use. Her long black hair was tangled in her face and sweat and blood clung to her black blouse. She was a complete mess. And she was going to die.
She toppled to the ground and ripped out a small knife. Her red brown eyes flitted about scanning the clearing yet there wasn't even a rustle of a branch. Oh gosh when Amaro found out about how she had died here he would bring her back to life and kill her again. And then for good measure kill her again. She tried to signal Derek but with her luck he was probably already dead.
Then into the clearing, very calmly and assuredly the beast lumbered in flicking it's head about, tasting the air, tasting her. The beast then looked at her with it's blood red eyes as though looking into her soul. It started towards her.
