"Jimin..?!" Aria beamed once she opened the door, her face immediately changing from the gloomy one she had to a bright smile.
He smiled back at her before stepping in. As usual, he pulled her in for a hug then kissed her forehead gently.
Jimin knew. He knew the way it wrongly affected her. He wasn't stupid not to notice it. But he still kept the same habits they were used to long years ago, so she would know that they were supposed to be the same as well, not just their habits.
"What were you doing?" Jimin asked while going in the living room, while she was following him still thinking about one thing.
Chloe.
"I was watching TV.. " She answered quietly then sat beside him on the coach, crossing her legs one over another. "Isn't there anyone else coming?" Aria couldn't help but to ask.
He frowned then shook his head while chuckling. "Why would anyone else come?" He stopped for a second, watching her now relaxed face, then spoke again. "Let's have dinner."
"Where?" Naively, she asked.
"Here.. " Jimin tried to ignore that bad feeling he had when he saw her face falling in disappointment then walked to the food he placed on the table when he firstly came in. "I brought you pizza. I know you love it."
Aria gave him a small smile then shook her head. "Thank you, but I'm not hungry."
"Oh, C'mon, Aria! I'm starving, and I didn't eat anywhere so we could have dinner together." He said, trying to convince his mind that he was talking to the 'little girl' he met ten years ago.
She sighed then went to the dining table to sit before him. Of course, she was starving too since she ate nothing during the entire day.
"Umm.. " Aria started, settling herself first in order not to stutter. "Did they tell you for how long they're gonna be abroad?"
"Yeah, I guess." Jimin said then pulled out his phone to see the text his father sent to him earlier, telling him about that trip. But surely he didn't care to read it. "A few months."
"Oh my god.." She mumbled under her breath, not really used to stay for that long home alone. Yes, she liked to stay at her room when they were home, but not completely alone like that. "That's so long." Already with teary eyes, she shook her head.
"Don't worry.." He spoke softly, getting up from his place, going towards her seat. He held one of her hands, patting her hair slowly. "I'm still there, you know."
At that moment, Aria felt like she would explode with sudden anger that rushed through her with no warning. She knew that he would NOT be there if his girlfriend said no or just knew about that. Aria felt the way he was no longer treating her the same in front of that girl. He would either smile at her, or just pretend like she wasn't existent.
