There in the operation room, Aria's mother completely regretted letting Jungkook in as he was the one always panicking while Carlin was reassuring him nonstop that she was fine, despite how much pain she actually felt.
"Carlin, one last push and we have the little one all fine out here." Aria's mother spoke quietly, controlling her own nervousness because of Jungkook.
"Oh my god, is it coming already?" Jungkook asked as he was holding Carlin's hand tightly as if he was the one pushing.
"Shut up." Aria's mother glared at him, and he obviously understood why. He didn't keep the promise that he wouldn't panic.
"Sorry." He mumbled to her, not knowing why she was chuckling at him, so he just turned to Carlin again, wiping the sweat on her face and caressing it. "Is it too painful?" He asked calmly, finally restraining himself.
She nodded her head tiredly, closing her eyes for a second just to feel another strong rush of pain coming through her body, causing her to scream for the twentieth time maybe.
"It's out!" The woman said while pulling the little baby out of her mother, tapping her butt lightly to hear her little cryings. "There your baby girl is."
Carlin threw her head back in exhaustion for a second before tilting it slightly again to take a look at the baby, while Jungkook had his eyes and mouth open in surprise as if he didn't know it would happen.
A nurse handed him the tiny girl. He carried her so carefully, feeling childishly happy when she stopped crying as he held her. He found himself smiling lovingly, as he placed a very small kiss on his daughter's temple, thinking that it might hurt her.
Then, he turned back to Carlin, placing the girl on her chest, so she would be able to hug her without moving. "She's so cute." Carlin said while smiling warmly, feeling her tears trailing down her cheeks.
Jungkook leant down and wiped Carlin's cheeks gently then kissed her forehead. "I love you."
Carlin smiled at him, but then frowned when she felt something sliding down her ring finger slowly, making her look at her hand for a second before turning to Jungkook with another teary face. "Jungkook.. What-"
"I don't wanna spent a second from the rest of my life without you." He shook his head then raised her hand slightly to place a kiss on it. "Would you mind that?"
"Of course, I don't." She said with a tired, yet beautiful smile on her face that caused another one on his.
Jungkook leant down to kiss her lips softly, forgetting about the entire staff that were enjoying the scene since the beginning. He pulled away to place another kiss on her forehead again before placing a last one on the little girl's small hand.
"So, lovely ones.." Aria's mother started, grabbing their attention. "What are you gonna name this little pumpkin?"
