Walking a little more brightly than usual through the corridors so she would reach the group she was willing to speak to, Carlin was stopped by someone, harshly pulling her back. "What the hell, Chloe?!"
"Listen to me, bitch." Chloe started, pulling on her hair with the other hand. "You don't get to tell Jimin if I was with you or not. And if he asked, just say yes. Understand?"
After seconds of staring at her blankly, Carlin smiled, not even trying to get away from her grip. "I promise from now on, even if you actually were with me, I'm gonna tell him that you weren't. I will never miss a chance to annoy you, darling." She said sweetly, her face after a second turning blank again. Then, she pushed Chloe away from her, making her hit the wall behind her.
"You're gonna regret that, Carlin!" She heard her shouting angrily, and she knew that Chloe would definitely find a way to make her regret that. But she was tired of the way she was treating her like shit for no reason.
Carlin sighed heavily when she saw them away, trying to get her good mood back for what she wanted to say. "Good morning." She said with a small smile then took the seat beside Anna.
"Carlin, it's been a long time. Why don't you join us more often?" Anna asked then glanced at Taehyung. "Of course, it's not because of Tae, right?"
Taehyung chuckled then shook his head. "Why would it be, Anna? We're fine, it's all in the past."
"Exactly." Carlin smiled then turned to Aria. "You still don't speak a lot, do you? Guess I missed the same girl."
Aria giggled softly at her words. "Guess you're the same cheerful." She said while nodding her head at her, causing her to chuckle. "I missed you too actually."
"Carlin, how are you doing?" Jimin, who just came, said while sitting beside Aria. His gaze met Anna's for a second as he was blankly staring at him, but he knew it was a silent warning. He looked away from her, acting like he was listening to Carlin.
Acting like 'just friends' in the morning, while the night before was telling otherwise still made them uncomfortable. But it'd been going for over a year now, so it wasn't that much of a new thing after all.
"I'm doing great. Actually, I wanted to invite you all to a small party I'm making next weekend." Carlin said with a smile that widened when Taehyung spoke.
"For your birthday?"
"Yeah.." She stopped for a second then chuckled lightly. "You still remember it?" He hummed in response, smiling as well. Although she became relieved that he remembered the day, her mind was still lingering somewhere else. "Well.. Now, where can I find Jungkook?"
Anna cleared her throat before answering. "At any corner, look for any girl that looks like a prostitute, you'll find him right under her."
"He's not that bad.." Aria said while laughing shyly, while the two guys where chuckling, agreeing with Anna. "He may be at the playing field too."
