"Here the forensic report is." Hoseok started while taking the seat in front of Namjoon. "The victim did have a bullet in her shoulder, but that's not what actually killed her."
"Wasn't it in her left shoulder..?" Namjoon wondered as he believed that it was the reason she died. "I mean, it can kill."
"Yet, she could've been easily rescued by a phone call to the ambulance." Hoseok sighed and looked at him. "She bled to death.. After she was raped."
"What?!" He said in shock, now, realizing the reason behind all the blood that was covering her lower body. "It's not a female then."
"The one who raped her is a guy.. But that doesn't mean he is the same person who shot her." Hoseok raised his eyebrows, trying to relate anything in the file in his hands. Nothing was working. No theory was working.
Nothing made sense.
"What do you mean?"
"She was raped after about 10 to 20 minutes from the shot." His nose wrinkled in disgust. "He raped her when she was almost dead already.. That's brutal."
Namjoon got up from his seat, walking around the room. "That was a revenge.. Not just a murder."
"Yes." He said and after a few seconds looked up at Namjoon in surprise. "And you won't believe what I'm gonna say."
Namjoon turned to him and raised an eyebrow. "What?"
"The victim was pregnant in three months."
"Well.." Namjoon was dumbfounded for a second, not liking how the case was getting more complicated by each second passing. "Fuck."
Hoseok giggled then shook his head. "You should've saved this reaction for what's next." He chuckled again when he saw Namjoon's mad expression. "After we got the DNA patterns of all the suspected males, none of them is her rapist.. But we could know who the father of the fetus is cuz he's one of them."
Namjoon stayed quiet for a mere second, his face blank, unlike his mind, then took a deep breath and asked. "Who?"
"It is confirmed that it was Jeon Jungkook's..."
Namjoon was about to speak before Hoseok interrupted him with the full information. "And this pregnancy happened when she drugged then raped him.. Three months ago."

This is like the shortest yet the most disastrous chapter I've ever written.
