Taehyung was about to answer, but his eyes caught a female figure approaching them and he was almost sure who she was; he just needed to make sure when she would be close enough.
His eyes were locked with hers for a few seconds, and when she gave him a small smile, he took it as the answer she needed to think about. So, he smiled back at her, happily.
Namjoon cleared his throat, not liking to feel like a third wheel or something. He looked at Aria and immediately recognized her, and he wasn't surprised when she was shocked once she saw him.
"So.." Taehyung started, getting up, along with Namjoon, then walked to Aria. He took one of her hands in his, holding it gently. "I guess you remember Aria.. She's my to-be girlfriend once she says it back." Namjoon chuckled, the deep blush appearing on Aria's face reminding him of his late sister. "And Aria, that's Namjoon.. My older brother."
"Brother?" Aria widened her eyes, moving her gaze between Taehyung and Namjoon repeatedly, looking as innocent as a lost puppy. "He's the detective!" She pointed at him then turned to Taehyung with a sad pout, her voice getting a little weaker. "Are you under arrest?"
"He is not." Namjoon answered calmly, smiling at her, now caring about how fragile she was since he wasn't investigating her anyways. "The case is over. You don't need to panic." Then, he turned to Taehyung. "I'll text you my address.. And I'd like to see you too, Aria." He said while smiling gently at her.
Aria instantly nodded without even knowing what he was talking about. She just knew Taehyung would be with her, so she didn't really care if she would go somewhere to the scary policeman.
Taehyung giggled, watching Namjoon walking away. "You don't even know what he was talking about, Aria."
"I don't care. He's just so intimidating." She shook her head then looked at Taehyung again. "Is he really your brother? Like, a sibling?"
"Yes." He nodded his head, still smiling. He just felt like a big weight was lifted from his chest when he told Namjoon about everything he had done as well as having Aria there with him. "How did you know that I was here?"
"I asked Jimin." She answered absent-mindedly before shaking her head and speaking again, hesitance and worry still clear in her voice. "Does your brother know?"
"Yes, I told him." Her face tensed up, so he continued. "But he won't do anything about it. I trust him.. After all, we did that for our sister."
"We?" She frowned in confusion. "What did he do? Why-"
"Aria.." He sighed softly, holding both of her hands. "You're here.. That's what actually matters to me now.. I don't care about anything else."
