"I hate that lecture." Jungkook mumbled while taking a seat beside Taehyung. "I can't survive all of it with you, Tae."
Taehyung chuckled then looked at him. "You never for once skipped that lecture.. Or did you suddenly become a nerd or something?"
"You know, I'm messing with you." He rolled his eyes, causing the other to giggle again. "It's weird that none of them came today, right?"
"Yeah.. It's okay for Jimin, but Aria and Anna? That's odd." He said, feeling more worried about Aria, because the other two weren't that much of classes-attendants.
Jungkook was about to speak, but a girl came in had him close his mouth again. Even if it'd been two years now, the girl still had the same effect on him, only her.
"Morning, Tae." She said sweetly while taking the seat in front of Taehyung.
He looked towards the voice then smiled when he saw her. "Hey Carlin.. I didn't know we have the same class now."
She chuckled while shaking her head. "Neither did I; it's good though." Feeling other pair of eyes on her, she turned her gaze towards Jungkook. She frowned a little then widened her eyes, acting surprised, as she looked at Taehyung again. "Don't tell me that's Jungkook."
Taehyung just giggled, knowing the reason she was pretending to be surprised. Jungkook did change a lot during the first two years of university. Like, really a lot.
In every way.
Jungkook smiled amusedly, glad that she remembered him. Then, he didn't speak. He would usually flirt with whoever girl would start talking to him, but he preferred to keep quiet.. Or maybe, he couldn't do anything but to keep quiet.
"I'm Carlin, if you remember me from high school." She said while smiling at him, grateful that she could speak with him without showing how nervous she actually was.
"I do." He answered, doing his best to keep their eye contact without looking away. And thankfully, the professor was in which made her look forward again.
Taehyung took a look at him, then leaned to the side a little so Jungkook would hear him. "It's been a very long time since I saw Kookie blushing."
Jungkook turned to glare at him. "I'm not." He whispered angrily, but that caused the other to just chuckle at his face.
• • After a few hours, the two guys had a gap for an hour, so they were sitting in the playing field, speaking about random stuff.
"So, about Carlin.." Jungkook said, mentally tired of keeping the topic in his head without speaking to him about it. "You two are friends now?"
"Yeah, what's about it?" Taehyung answered while smiling kinda wickedly. He knew Jungkook had something for this girl long time ago.
"I mean, you were dating.. Isn't that weird?"
"We're not making it weird, so it's not.. We broke up because we had nothing real. Everything was boyish." He shrugged. "Besides, we're totally fine now."
"That's not what I exactly mean." Jungkook huffed in irritation when Taehyung gave him a confused look. "Don't you recall things? Like.. You two together, you know Tae?"
"Oh my god-No!" He giggled hard against his will. "That would be really teenage, you know. And if you think that way, you do need help."
"Huh? I don't." He lied, then shook his head. "I'll be back in a minute." He said then went to the restrooms.
• • As he was going out to where Taehyung was, he met Chloe. Well, she stopped him. "Jungkook.. Hi."
His jaw clenched, and he felt like he wanted to just vanish from where she was. "Didn't I tell you to not be at the same place I am in?"
"It was a coincidence." She said, acting innocent. Then, she took a step closer to him, trying to have any reaction from his face. "What? You don't wanna see me anymore?"
"Of course, I don't." He said, stepping away for leaving. "I feel disgusted every time I remember that I actually touched you."
"Disgusted? You really think I'm gonna believe that?" She said with an annoying grin on her face.
"You know that I wasn't conscious." He said and was about to leave, but went back to her again. "And I think you should make sure if Jimin knows." He lowly whispered in her ear then left.
"He won't believe you if you tell him, Jungkook!" She shouted angrily, trying to warn him from something he'd already done, which caused a smile to appear on his face.
Jungkook was a player.. But sort of a clean one. He wouldn't lie or play with the girls' feelings. It was much easier for him, because he took it all as a game.. A game with its limits in which he'd stop where he would start to hurt someone he cared for.
Ever since he had his own heart broken, he swore that he'd never break anyone's.
It took him years to recover.
