Namjoon entered the room, starting with his not-so-nice greeting. "You know, I feel really bad that for anyone it's gonna look like you're the guilty."
"Wow, it ended faster than I though." Jimin scoffed at how the man wanted to start the investigation. "Am I under arrest now?"
"Not yet. I just need to make sure myself." Namjoon smiled, as he took the seat in front of Jimin. "Why did you date Chloe if she was so hated among people?"
"I liked her." Jimin shrugged. "To be more honest, I liked how difficult she was to be controlled.. To fall in love."
"You mean you betted yourself that you were going to make her fall for you." Jimin nonchalantly nodded. "That's why you dated her for a year or two?"
"Not just that." He shook his head. "She was good in.. other things."
Namjoon smirked while scoffing. "In bed?"
"Exactly."
"You were using her." He raised an eyebrow, tilting his head to the side.
"Sort of." Jimin shrugged. "I didn't really care how it looked like." He said, shaking his head, not showing any feelings while talking about his late girlfriend.
"Did you ever love her?"
"No." He answered bluntly. "After we dated, I realized that she was Anna's bully in high school.. So, I made use of what she could do."
"You're such a selfish kid." Namjoon sighed, as if he was talking to an actual kid.
"Kid?" Jimin raised his eyebrows before sarcastically chuckling at the word.
"So, you know you're selfish."
"I can control it with people I care for." He answered seriously. "But as for Chloe, I never cared for her.. Just like she never gave a fuck about me everytime she cheated on me."
"God, I almost forgot that!" Namjoon suddenly raised his voice. "You know she raped Jungkook, right?"
Jimin stayed quiet for a few seconds before nodding his head. "Yes, he told me."
"Well, Jimin." He started, causing Jimin to be more attentive to him. "I'm afraid to tell you that your emotionless reaction while you're talking about the victim, in addition to the fact that she slept with one of your best friends is making me feel things that I shouldn't be feeling."
Jimin looked at him with narrowed eyes, tilting his head to the side a little, and trying to understand what he was talking about.
Namjoon smiled at him blankly. "I'm starting to feel like your reactions are the same of a killer with no regrets."
"I'm not." Jimin raised an eyebrow, speaking defensively. "Yes, I didn't feel sad when she died, but that doesn't mean I killed her."
Namjoon stared at him without speaking for awhile before asking. "Do you have any idea of the fact that Chloe was pregnant when she died?"
