11. Suspected

"Anna?" After a few minutes of sitting alone, trying to think about everything just happened, Anna heard Taehyung's voice speaking to her, panting. "Where is Aria? What happened to her?"

"Calm down." She said calmly, as she stood up. "She just has a broken leg.. Where were you by the way? I called you, but your phone was off."

"Yeah, I didn't remember to charge it last night. I just received your messages." He shrugged then looked at Anna again. "What about Aria?"

"She's in here.. With Jungkook." She gulped hardly so she wouldn't cry again because of the fact that Aria didn't want to see her.

"And.. Why are you here?" He asked with concern, knowing that it wasn't normal for her to leave Aria for Jungkook like that.

"It's nothing." She shook her head, obviously lying. "You just go and see her."

Taehyung stared at her for seconds then nodded his head and went in the room, slightly widening his eyes when he saw Aria laughing because of Jungkook. He thought he would have to kick him out of the room.

"Well.. That was unexpected."

"Hey, Tae! Remember when Jimin and I pranked you with a fake account in the middle school, and you almost fell for us." Jungkook said while giggling, already knowing that he would glare at him.

Taehyung was shocked for a moment before shrugging. "I thought they were a girl." Hearing Aria chuckle again, he exclaimed, trying to explain himself. "I was 15 for God's sake!"

Taehyung rolled his eyes in annoyance when they continued giggling together. He shook his head then went to Jungkook, talking to him lowly so Aria wouldn't hear. "Anna doesn't seem fine out there."

Jungkook looked at him questioningly, and Taehyung just shook his head in ignorance which made Jungkook nod his head and go to the door of the room. "I'm going now, okay.. I'll be back in minutes." Then, he left.

"What was that?" Aria asked while trying to adjust herself so she would be more comfortable while sitting.

"Nothing." Taehyung said then noticed what she was trying to do, so he held her hand, helping her to sit up easier. "How are you feeling now?"

"Much better." She said while smiling then felt her cheeks getting warmer on their own. "I'm sorry I didn't talk to you last night.. I just wanted to thank you."

"I understand, Aria. There's no need for saying anything." He said quietly, taking the seat beside her bed.

"No, I really had a reason." She slightly shook her head, which made him look at her with more concern. "I.. I have homophobia.. And when I saw the blood yesterday, it made me terrified.. Even more than I already was."

"So.." He hesitated a little, not sure of what he would say. "You were afraid because of the blood? Just that? Not me?"

"You?" She raised her eyebrows in surprise. "Of course not, Tae.." She stopped for a second, staring down at her hands. "You saved me." She whispered that part, remembering their little 'conversation' the night before.

"Hey, look here." He started deeply, gently taking her hands in his, causing her to do as he said and look at him. "I know what happened last night was a lot, and I think there's even more happened afterwards with Anna.. But I don't want you to tell me about now.. Also, I'm not asking you to recall what we had to talk about before going to the party.. For now, just focus on getting better soon, alright?"

Aria speechlessly stared at his face that seemed like it was hiding something she couldn't understand. She found her lips curving up, forming a sincere smile and just nodded her head, not even knowing if she could actually say something.

Few minutes later, Jungkook could finally calm himself down a little after hearing a complete confession from Anna about the kind of relationship she had with Jimin, and why Aria was actually there.

"You two should've lost your fucking minds." He said while looking down at her direction, not willing to get angry with her again.

Anna kept silent, for the first time, allowing him to say whatever he wanted to her. She felt like she deserved it all; she betrayed and let her very best friend down.

"Why didn't you tell Aria before? Everyone knew she fucking loved that asshole!" He asked then looked around, getting angrier. "Where the fuck is he?!"

Anna flinched a little at the sudden change in Jungkook's voice that she felt like crying. She never felt so fragile. "I-i don't know. He left."

"Yeah, right. Just like how he left Aria last night when he knew he had to be with her." Jungkook scoffed sarcastically then turned to Anna again, finally noticing that she wasn't the same. "I don't wanna judge you.. But what you did was wrong.. You know you wronged Aria, right?."

Anna took a deep, shaky breath then nodded her head. "But I'll talk to her. When she gets out of here, I'll do anything to make her forgive me." She spoke seriously, ignoring the urge to cry at that moment.

Jungkook sighed sharply then huffed in irritation. He glanced at Anna one last time before pulling her in for a hug, patting her back. "You can be so stupid sometimes.. It's not only me now."

She unwillingly chuckled then looked up at him. "You.. You don't feel like you hate me now.. And don't wanna know me anymore?"

"You're becoming more stupid by each second passing.. So, I guess it's better if you just shut the fuck up." He said, causing her to glare at him which made him chuckle lightly.

As Jimin was going back to Anna, he frowned his eyebrows upon the sight of her in Jungkook's embrace. He found it annoying and unnecessary.

However, the dreadful news he had forced him to ignore it for now.

Once Jungkook saw Jimin, he got up from his place, and without a single word, he punched him in the face.

"What that fuck, Jungkook?!" Jimin exclaimed angrily while holding his jaw before tasting blood on the corner of his lips.

"There are too many reasons for me to say all in once why I punched you like that and still want to punch you even more." Jungkook glared at him, feeling a little bad that the punch came slightly stronger than he wanted it to be.

"You're lucky there's more important shit than that." Jimin said then moved his eyes to Anna, feeling secretly reassured when he saw her worried eyes examining his small bruise. "Let's get in. It's something we all need to know."

"Y-you know we can't get in." Anna said while looking away, avoiding him.

"If it's so important, let's just go in." Jungkook said, noticing Jimin's confused eyes. "Anna told me about how much you two fucked up."

"Alright." Jimin sighed heavily, then the three of them walked to Aria's room again.

"Jimin has something important to say." Jungkook started so Aria wouldn't have to ask them to get out again.

Jimin stared at her for a few seconds before taking a deep breath. "Chloe was found murdered in her apartment this morning.."

".. And we are all suspected."
