Later that day we had to start rehearsal for the show. I started thinking about what Harvey said " What if I don't want it to be a one time thing?" I didn't know how I was going to make it through the day. My thoughts were interrupted by my husband. "Where were you last night?" he asked. Crap. If I tell him what happened I'm sure he'd cancel the show right now. But the truth somewhat spilled out. "Oh, well to be frank Rodger, we have been having a lot of trouble in our marriage and I'm just no-"
"Well get on with it! Where were you??"
"I'm trying to explain dammit! If you must know I spent the night at Harvey's house." Rodger looked stunned that I mentioned that to him.
"You what?"
"Nothing happened," I didn't want to give too much away. " He just offered me a place to sleep because I'm so upset about our personal life."
After I explained myself, Rodger stormed off. At this point I was scared he might suspect something and fire Harvey. That was the last thing I wanted, he was my second banana, such a talent, and my best friend. My thoughts were again interrupted by the man I think I am starting to adore.
"I heard the big honcho yelling at you. What went on?"
"Well he asked what happened last night, I just explained that you let me stay at your house and he stormed off I don't know what he suspects."
"Why should he suspect anything?" He looked down at me with loving eyes. "Come on, let's go back to rehearsal," he said as he wrapped his arm around my waist.

Later after rehearsal, I went to my dressing room to think about all the current events lately and the new episode that was to be taped tomorrow. Harvey came into my dressing room, and I smiled back at him. "Hey Harvey, what's up?"
"I just want to talk basis about-"
"Harvey, if you're going to talk about last night, we were drunk we had no idea we would have ended up in this situation. Don't get me wrong I love you very much but-"
"We can't just deny it happened. Carol listen." He sounded very sincere as he began to sit down and hold my hand. "From what I can remember, last night was the happiest I have felt in awhile. And not anyone could say they slept with their boss." I chuckled at his comment. "But after my divorce, I just feel stuck, and you're always there to help me. Besides we kiss a lot on the show and off the show, and I adore those kisses. I bet your husband finds that awkward about the love we share."
"Harvey, to be totally honest, I have developed strong feelings for you and like you I'm just having trouble trying to figure out my life, take care of my family, and make sure my husband, head honcho of the studio, doesn't cancel my only happiness which is to entertain people. But I do believe since we make each other stronger, and your words about not making this a one time deal....we should try to have a stronger relationship."
That loving smile grew on his face as he leant in to kiss my lips.
Author note: I feel like I've totally abandoned this story. I'm going to try to write on every Friday and develop this story more and make it interesting. Stay tuned....
