The Final episode of the tenth season.

This was it. Harvey's last episode with us. I didn't know whether I wanted to be happy or if I wanted to cry. Throughout the day I kept giving him hugs and Vicki kept weeping and reminding him how good of a mentor he was to her. The final sketch with Harvey and Tim was almost unbearable to watch. They were both so happy at this sad time.

Before I started my sign off song, I told the audience, "Listen everyone, Harvey has been here for many fun-filled years and we love him for it, but it's time for him to move on to bigger and better things. He is going to have his own sitcom on ABC," I smiled and the crowd cheered. I brought him up to where I was standing and gave him a goodbye hug. "Thank you Carol for this show, the wonderful cast, the wonderful sketches, just.. Thank you." He sounded as if he were about to cry so I nodded and started to sing my goodbye theme.

"I'm so glad we had this time together...

Just to have a laugh or sing a song...

seems we just get started and before you know it,

comes the time we have to say, So Long."

That last line hit me like a ton of bricks because the meaning really lived in the moment now. We then took our final bows and took our exits off the stage.
