4 hours later
I was literally shaking in my chair . Tommy kept rubbing my arms soothingly to try to keep me calm. Tim on the other hand kept letting out a heavy sigh from time to time as he was leaning forward in his chair anxious to find out the results of his friend.
Finally I saw a doctor come by hoping it was for us and that he was okay. He was walking towards us so I knew it was for us.

I waited until he started hesitating and I knew this was going horribly wrong. It seemed like the operation would go through. I swear I wanted to sue these doctors if they killed my lover. But first I should find out the facts.

"Hello everyone, so.. about Harvey.. I'm sorry but there was nothing else we could do to save his life. During the operation there were complications due to an aneurism in his abdomen. My condolences are with you and the family and we have to contact the family as to what we shall do with his remains."

I felt my whole world shatter. I know we all pass away at some point. And I know I faced tragedy when my daughter passed and my best friend Lucille Ball passed on my birthday, but losing Harvey.. I can't come to terms as to how close we were. Basically almost inseparable.

As everyone was about to leave, the doctor was running down the hallway. "Ms. Burnett!" I turned around quickly. I don't know if I was hoping there was a miracle but..
"I figured you wanted this momentum of his. "
It was his wrist chain with our names engraved on it, one name on each side of the plate. Suddenly memories flooded back, and I remember when we got this made and we took forever to decide who should keep it, because we couldn't afford two at that time. Wow. I..*sigh* I can't believe he kept it on him all these years and I haven't even noticed.
With that we all walked out of the hospital peacefully.
