Harvey's POV
Okay! The script is finally finished. And the studio called all the actors needed including myself .
Today was the day of rehearsal, and the first day I see my angel again and make it up to her that I didn't mean any harm to her.
I was walking through the halls about to take my duty as producer and ..boom.Carol's POV
I saw him. After all this time I saw him. We both stared at each other down the hall our mouths open in shock as if everything were going in slow motion.
I walked towards him. "Hi," I smiled.
"Hi," he smiled back and gave me a hug. After we both loosened our grip we looked at each other's eyes lovingly as if nothing had ever happened but then I sort of snapped back into reality. I shook my head "Well we should be getting to rehearsals."
"Yes," he smiled and we hooked arms to the stage. After rehearsal, I started reminiscing about how much fun I had performing in front of an audience. AHH the thrill as if it never left my soul. I was brought out of my thoughts when Harvey called me over. "Do you mind if I talk to you?" ...I didn't see any harm in that . I'm trying to keep our relationship as platonic or maybe not as awkward as possible. It wasn't hard because I'm not an awkward person. I move from situations quickly because it's the most positive thing to do so I don't dwell.
"So how've you been?" He asked.
"I'm fine. How're you I heard wedding bells for you soon," I smiled because I really was happy for him.
"Yeah," he blushed and smiled greatly. " I'm really happy and I feel okay now not working as much. You know film credit here and there and Mel is such a true friend for letting me into his movies. But I like quiet time too.""That's really great Harvey!"
"Thanks, well what have you been up to? I heard Carrie's out of rehab."
" Oh yes! She's out, my other kids are fine. Rodger passed on but they've been strong. And uhh.." How do I tell the man I used to love but still care about his feelings that I'm living and in a relationship with another person he knows very well. Well I shouldn't feel bad he's getting married like he cares.
"I uh, I've been living with Tommy..Smothers..""Ahhh! Ol Tom! How's he?"
"Good, we're in a relationship you know.." I smiled.
He looked shocked at first like a needle poked him to wake up to reality. He then smiled ," I'm so happy for you," he paused and looked down "I just want to let you know that I made up this family sketch special so I can see you again and be on friendly terms. "
"Oh Harvey, we'll only be on friendly terms, but thank you for this because this also helped lift up my spirits." I gave him a hug. We stayed in that position for a few seconds then when we pulled away our faces were really close to each other. I looked at his eyes and looked down at my lips. He then leaned down and placed his lips on mine. I love Tommy but God I missed this feeling . He had a certain tenderness . I just missed him. We gave each other a sort of passionate kiss then a few smaller kisses until I pulled away. I smiled and he also smiled placing a hair behind my ear. At that moment I walked out waving goodbye, and saying goodbye to the rest of the cast and I was happy the rest of the day .
