Time has flown by since that incident. It is now towards the end of the tenth season, and we were picked up for an eleventh season. The show, I feel has gotten even funnier than when we first started. Rodg is doing a fine job still producing and we are one friendly terms. Harvey now has a plaque on his dressing room door, " Mr. Happy Go Lucky" because, after that stern talking to, he saw me down the hall and started skipping ad whistling to keep me happy too. And our love life has gotten back to normal.
One day we were at his vacation house in Florida for the weekend with my kids and his kids, and he received a special letter. "From ABC?"
"ooooh open it," I was excited to find out what it was.
"Dear Mr. Korman, ABC has admired your talent for years and decided to give you an offer for your own primetime sitcom with our station." he read aloud.
I felt my face go cold. I knew he wanted more of a spotlight but I didn't think anyone would actually reach him. Well... maybe I did, he is a good talent.
"Carol, I'm speechless, what do I do."
I wanted the best for him. I really do said what any other supportive partner would say.
"Harvey, this is your chance. This is fate that this is happening, you have to take it before it goes away."
"Are you sure?" he asked with sad eyes.
"Yes," I answered half happy but half crying. Harvey looked as if he were going to cry too, so we cuddled on the pool chair, daydreaming heavily.
