Chapter 28

2 months later
I'm still here at Tommy's house. Luckily he has been so generous for letting me stay here. But lately I've been getting funny looks from him (and not like funny/goofy looks he gives everyone), I mean like he's deep in thought or just like admiring my presence which was weird even for him . But my concern was Harvey. You would think he would be over this whole ordeal or at least try to contact me because it's been two ..going on three months now. I kept calling but he never responds to his calls. I feel stuck .

Harvey's POV
  The last two months..let me tell you have not been easy but I feel a bit Better. My best friend Tim got remarried which made me feel positive to marry Carol one day. But somehow I still felt sad. So.. I went on a cruise. This was the most relaxed I felt in a long while . It just so happens I met this pretty little thing and we've been talking and I feel like since she wasn't a star it was interesting from her perspective that it's okay to be upset but to only accept it and better things will come along.
    You may be thinking well, Harvey didn't Carol tell you almost the same thing. Yes. Don't get me wrong I love Carol but since she was so huge I don't think she would understand my flop very much. I think that's why I needed a break. I wanted to get back together with her..but I met Helen .

3 weeks later
Carol's POV
I was sitting watching tv, and I kept blanking out. Then without any thinking I stormed over to my  car keys and made my way to Harvey's pad.
   Once I arrived I heard noises in the living room. I was so scared I backed up into the wall, staring at the door trying not to let tears fall from my face. All of a sudden I felt the courage that may destroy my world, but I had the right to know.
     Once I put the key in the lock, and forcefully push the door open.. I was right.
