no smut but there is dirty talk at the end❗️

"hey babe can you help me get her into her shoes?" jade yelled to beck across the living room as beck came running in and squatted down next to nina.

but nina clearly had other ideas. after her first steps a few days ago she had been trying (and usually failing) to run away from anyone and everyone. which proved especially difficult when trying to put her shoes on, like beck was attempting now.

"nina come on just sit down and ill make your feet all warm i promise" beck coaxed, holding out a hand to the little girl who crossed her arms and turned away.

"no!" she squealed, not exactly angrily though. it was her new favorite game. saying "no" to everything until beck picked her up and tickled it out of her.

"nina i'm not kidding" he tried to look serious, but she was grinning at him like a maniac and he couldn't help but smile back at his baby girl.

"ready to go get lo?" jade walked back into the room, now wearing a jacket and her shoes. she sighed at nina who sat with her legs open and a huge mischievous smile she was continuing to look at her parents with.

"what are we going to do with you?" jade sighed with a smile and looked to beck.

"are we dropping the kids at your moms tomorrow?" jade asked glancing down at nina who was babbling about the floor tiles.

"that's the plan" he smiled back and she tilted her head.

"i thought the plan was lots and lots of sex" she lowered her voice and her eyes darkened. he smirked up at her.

"that is also the plan" he smiled back, standing a little closer to her so that he could pull her into a kiss.

"sec!" they heard squealed from the ground and jade pulled away quickly to look down at nina who was grinning from ear to ear.

"she can't say 'yes' but 'sex' she picks up on?" jade bent down and propped nina on her hip, holding the girls leg out as beck wrestled her right then left shoes on.

when they arrived to the preschool around 5, after logan's after school program so beck and jade could work later, beck went in to grab logan and nina sat with jade in the car.

"do you see lo nini?" jade pointed out the window as logan and beck approached the car.

"lo!" she squealed as logan was buckled into his car seat.

"nini!" he smiled back, trying to lean over their car seats to see him.

"careful lo, you can give nini kisses at home ok?" beck told the boy who nodded and sat back against his seat.

"did the teacher say anything about his reading?" jade whispered to beck as she noticed logan and nina preoccupied with something in the backseat.

"we should be asking him to read to us at home, since he will be more comfortable in that environment" beck placed his hand on her thigh and began rubbing it up and down, making her take a shaky breath in.

logan's dyslexia had been difficult for almost all of them besides nina. logan didn't understand why he was frustrated and it was hard to explain to him. jade was looking for ways to help but logan never seemed to want to try them, and more than anything she wanted him to be happy so she didn't force them on him. and beck wanted jade and logan to be happy but it didn't seem like it went hand and hand. but they were getting through it.

jade nodded in response and beck drove them all home.

jade quickly descended upstairs to logan's room to pick out a book to read for him. was he going to like it? no. but was he going to do it? yes. she just needed him to know that he could love reading because she knew he loved stories.
