"beck do you know where the jar of pickles is?" jade screamed, leaning out of the fridge to try and get becks attention. beck looked up from where he was rolling a truck around with logan and nina in the living room and smiled.

"isn't it in the side door?" he asked softer than her, smiling at her early signs of pregnancy.

"those are the sweet kind that make me nauseous i need the kind with all the vinegar that make your mouth hurt when you eat too many?" she snapped her fingers in thought and he raised a confused eyebrow.

"sorry babygirl i don't really know types of pickles that well" he frowned and she smiled sympathetically.

"fuck" she muttered, going back in the fridge. as logan ran a toy car up his shin he brushed ninas chestnut hair out of her face.

"i can go get you some" he offered, prying his kids small hands off of his legs and standing up to eye level with her.

"you don't have it it's just my stupid early pregnancy cravings" she sighed, shaking her head. this happened when she was pregnant with logan and nina. about three weeks into her pregnancy she would experience odd food cravings that weren't normal for so early in the pregnancy. her doctor always said it was nothing to worry about, just probably early development or something about the way her body carried children. but it sure was a pain in the ass.

"but i want to" he walked over and kissed the side of her head softly, making her cheeks flush a bright pink.

"are you gonna be ok with lo and nini?" he asked, grabbing the car keys from the dish in the kitchen and she nodded. he left and locked the door behind him and she smiled, looking down at her two kids and sitting down with her legs folded under her next to them.

"da" nina babbled and jade pulled the little girl up into her lap.

"we do love daddy don't we" she smiled as nina nuzzled her face into jades shoulder.

"wuv' daddy" logan added on, cuddling into jades other side as she wrapped her free arm around him.

"i tired mama" logan mumbled into her shirt and she raised her eyebrows, glancing down at nina whose eyes were already half closed. she held the girl close to her chest and moved them onto the couch, patting the seat next to her and letting logan cuddled into her side as nina fell asleep.

"you can sleep lo" she said softly to the child on her right side as they huddled into one another on the couch. to be honest she needed a nap too. her pregnancy had barely even started and it was already exhausting her to no ends. and people didn't even know yet, the part she was dreading the most.

"night night mommy" logan whispered, barely audible as she stroked his cheek softly and felt his body relax against hers. she smiled contently and let her eyes flutter shut. just holding them as close to her as possible.

beck walked back into the house about a half hour later, opening the door and immediately smiling at the sight in front of him. jade was asleep on the couch with logan cuddled into her left side, his eyes closed as he breathed softly and nina was clinging onto her chest and had her head on jades shoulder.

"i could get used to this" he muttered to himself as he walked over and kissed the top of her forehead softly. she was usually a pretty heavy sleeper but since the kids she had been waking up pretty easily, so he was slightly taken aback when she didn't wake up at his kiss. logan and nina were out like lights and tucked under each of jade's arms as their breathing slowly made soft noises. beck wanted nothing more than for their couch to be bigger so he could curl up and fall asleep next to them all.
