black friday was a big deal to jade. and ultimately it was a big deal to nina too. logan on the other hand, hated the fact that his moms attention had been on prices of shoes all day.

"mommmyyyyy" he whined from the rug in front of the couch in the living room where jade sat on her computer, nina staring at the screen like a hawk while logan played on the carpet.

"lo don't whine" she warned, looking up from the screen at her 4 year olds annoyed face as he huffed. she really did feel bad that he was so bored, but beck had been was only out with andre for a couple hours which gave her a small window to go online shopping when she needed to surprise him.

"bew!" nina pointed out on the screen as jade passed through the sections of blue lingerie.

that was her surprise for him. lingerie. and also same day arrival. she was only about two months pregnant and pretty soon she wasn't going to feel exactly sexy, so she figured she would worship her new husband while she still could. and that was definitely going to include some seriously sexy lingerie that she got on sale.

"you're right that is blue" she praised the child who smiled proudly up at her. she patted the seat on the other side of her as logan tugged on her sleeves.

"lo come help mommy" she instructed as he climbed up onto the couch next to her with a dramatic sigh.

"do you think daddy would like the blue? or maybe the purple? or the red?" jade pointed out different pictures on the screen and suddenly logan was extremely interested.

"hmm" he pondered and nina seemed to be thinking hard about the question too.

"red one mama" logan finally decided and jade looked to nina for approval. she nodded in agreement and jade bit back a small laugh. if only beck could see her now.

"remember it's a secret from daddy" she reminded them and logan nodded vigorously.

"shh" nina spluttered, spitting everywhere as she held her finger to her lips and shushed them all.

"that's right shhhh we don't talk about secrets bug" she brushed her hand through ninas hair and she giggled. she grabbed nina by the sides, placing her in her lap as logan cuddled into her other side.

"kif'" nina pouted her lips and jade rolled her eyes. her manipulative, and very convincing child. she leaned down and blew a raspberry on ninas neck, making the little girl erupt into giggles.

"mama i wanna kissy too" logan pouted his lips too and jade began to tickle his stomach furiously, both of them giggling hysterically.

"now this is what i like to come home to" beck said, walking in through the front door. nina and logan's heads both perked up at the sound of their dads voice.

"da!" nina squealed putting her arms up and silently begging for him to pick her up.

"hi babygirl" he muttered against her skin as he kissed her cheek and placed her on his hip.

"oh bubba i missed you" he smiled, running his hand through logan's hair as he sat down next to jade and logan on the couch, nina still content in his arms. jade shut her laptop quickly and he didn't seem to notice.

"daddy guess what happened while you away?" logan's eyes lit up and jade pursed her lips. so much for keeping secrets lo, she thought.

"what happened bud?" beck urged on and logan began trying to contain his giggles.
